Just came across this on Youtube. Looks very interesting. Any body have any info/feedback on this Aussie brand?

The first run I believe were rather pellet picky being designed around they're .22 bullets and to make it worse
many of the people that got them were trying to shoot pellets at speeds greater than the sound barrier which predictably were in accurate,
The latest shipment came through JoeB and from what I've seen was well liked with good accuracy with JSB heavies
and very impressive power etc. and I believe at the IWA show in Germany they announced a potential K2.
Build quality seems to be pretty good.

When that Huben hit the internet, it seemed too great to be true. I have also been anxiously awaiting a GTA member to say " I GOT ONE !! IT'S AWESOME !". I think a lot of people are sitting back to see if it lives up to the hype. If I remember there was some concern that it's a sealed breech so getting access to barrel (ie.. to clear a pellet from barrel or clean) is problematic. It would be nice if any owner had input.

HUBEN is an emerging brand in the global airgun industry. It is dedicated to R & D, manufacturing and sales of high-precision and long-range airguns. After years of effort, it has successfully developed a new structure - hammer-less semiautomatic excitation mechanism for PCP airguns, and applied for patents for it in many countries.

The working principle of the hammer-less mechanism is as follows:
After the trigger is pulled to release the sear, air pressure pushes the piston backward. Driven by the piston, the air valve opens the air passage and the pellet is propelled out. Then the air passage is cut off by an adjustable shut-off valve. After that, the air pressure pushing the piston backward disappears, and the piston returns to its original position under the force of the spring, thus achieving automatic cocking. The mechanism boasts the following features:

1:High pressure valve opening. Theoretically, increasing the air pressure makes opening the valve easier.
2:The air passage diameter can be very large (even larger than the barrel diameter). Therefore, the airflow resistance is extremely low. Because of these two features, the kinetic energy is maximized.
3:The piston stroke is short and the piston itself is light weighted. Therefore, the valve opening speed is very high in a very short period of time and the vibration is small, significantly enhancing the shooting accuracy.
4:The shut-off valve is at the core of this technology. It can shut off the air passage according to the airflow speed. The wider the shut-off valve opens, the faster the airflow speed for cutting off the air passage will be, or vice versa. As a result, the muzzle velocity can be adjusted steplessly and easily in a wide range.
You can adjust to any muzzle velocity you want. The air passage is cut off before the projectile leaves the barrel, thus preventing air waste. The muzzle velocity fluctuation is very small, generally less than 3 meters per second. In addition, to enhance the gas storage pressure of PCP airguns and increase the number of firings.

The magazine is non-removable, but holds a whopping 19 shots.  That's a lot of pellets, so be sure to order a tin or 5 when you purchase your rifle.

One of the best features of the K-1 is the that the regulator is externally adjustable. Which means you can dial in the best speed for the pellet you want to use.  We suggest the JSB Pellets for this rifle, as they have been working quite well.  As with the majority of airguns, we also suggest to keep the pellets set at around 880-900 F/S for best accuracy
Feature: K-1 is ~ 32" long, ~ 7lbs, barrel is ~23 1/2, shot count is 80 at 40 fpe and 38 at 70fpe

I handled one a few months ago at Mrodair but was not able to shoot it.  The apparent build quality was very nice and I was impressed with it.  I am still considering a purchase of one but due to recent issues I've noted it will be ordered from another seller.  If I recall correctly, short range accuracy was good but there was an issue with twist rate to stabilize the heavier pellets for long range.  Apparently a gentleman from Spain has done quite a bit of work in that area with barrel changes and I believe that Mrodair claims they have the issue addressed.  Overall I think it is a very interesting rifle and the quality seemed very good from handling one only but it does seem to be a complicated system.
