You got to help me with my HW90

Not long time ago I posted a thread about my brand new 0.22 HW90 stated that it does not group well. many of you suggested give to it a good break in period, others asked me to try differetn pellets.

After more than 350 pellets there is no pattern whatsoever, actually more than half the pellets do not even hit the target. I'm shooting open sight from 20 yards. With my 0.22 HW80K and 0.22 HW80 which I have less than 150 pellets through them, I can hit bulleye time after time from the same distance using open sight.

I tried all these pellets: RWS super dome, JSB exact, Beeman FTS copper plated, and H&N Baracuda. No pattern at all, a shot gun groups better than my group with this HW90.

Ok, I thought I was getting close to get this gun to group but I was WRONG.   I tried the towel just like Kevin suggested, it did not work.  I used a pillow and a towel without a sand bag, it did not work.  I started using heavier pellets (Baracuda Match 21.14 gr), it did not work.  There were times when I was getting close to get a nice group just to see them open up and disappearing from my target.  I tried to hold the rifle a little bit rather than resting it loose in my palm still no result.  If it shoots south east on Monday, it will shoot north west on Tuesday.  Around 500 pellets down the barrel.  Screws and bolts are ok.

Ten clicks to the left then I have to go seventeen to the right.  Six clicks up then fourteen down.   Place a target at 50 yards and shoot it with a shotgun, you will do better than me with my HW90.  The trigger pull was light to the point you do not get a feel between stages one and two and every time I tried to make the trigger pull heavy it goes back to the light pull and had many accidental firings.

I’m still shooting open sights and have no intention to mount a scope.  I paid more than $650.00 so I expect it to perform at this level so I’m not ready to send the rifle to anybody to reduce the pressure in the gas ram.  That should have been done at the plant before it was sent to me beside; I bought it for its high power.  If I send it to anyplace, it will be a one way trip.  Do you guys feel how frustrated I am?

I’m calling PA tomorrow and see if they can give me a full credit without a price deduction since I have been their customer for some time now and have spent a lot of money there.  I can get HW77k plus some accessories for $650.00.  No more gas rams.

sorry to hear that Sam! have you look at the breech seal? have you ran it across a chrony? either way if its still where you can send it back I'd do so while you can! sorry to hear you had bad luck on this one Sam!
