Feinwerkbau Sport 125

 I'm a new member. While helping a friend move last week he handed me the Feinwerkbau 124 and asked me if I wanted it. One second later I said yes I'll take it off your hands. So I ordered some Meisterkugeln pellets to start target practice. The gun made a shooting sound but the pellet was still in the chamber. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to proceed ?  Thanks..

Did your friend say how long he had had the gun?  My RWS 6G sat in my mother's basement for 25 years.  First shot in 25 years, no problem; second shot in 25 years, pfist, problem!
Pellet still in chamber.  My piston seal was toast.  Off to get a new seal.  Now she shoots great.

I bet your gun needs some new seals and a proper lube.  Lots of people here, I'm not one of them, can walk you through the dismantling and remanteling of your FWB 124.  They are supposed to be one of the real gems of the air rifle world.

Yup ... Piston seals done !!
Air Rifle headquarters ( Macarri ) sells new piston / breech seals.
Tho I would suggest having someone familiar with doing so perform the task !
Roof of comp tube will need to be cleaned as well, which takes a bit of work and some special tools to get the old seal material out of there.

+ 1 Me and every FWB 124 owner I know has had this happen. As mentioned JM has everything you need and as previously mentioned since this is probably your 1st air gun I wouldn't recommend going it along. http://www.airrifleheadquarters.com/page/page/251483.htm

Here a tutorial on what you'll have to do to replace the seal and get that rifle ready to shoot.  It's not that hard. My first rebuild was my FWB 124.

FWB seals (old one) are notorious for severe degradation. It will likely be disintegrated in the tube. Here is a picture of the old seal next to a new ARH seal.
