Rob,

I like it.... what is the barrel length? Any reason one (who has machinery and skills) couldn't do this to a QB? I know Roy's kits are awesome, but I like building stuff occasionally and the price is right on this.

thanks Kevin.. No problem, the QB would actually be easier because the stock barrel is closer to the barrel diameter of the npxl ( 9/16th )
not to mention , the barrel front is already threaded for an ldc , so as long as you have an M12 tap , man it was a breeze. You may need to make a bushing for the rear of the barrel but nothing major.. Some WD40 and the pin holding the barrel to the block comes right out.BARREL LENGTH was 19.6 i think , after machining , maybe 19.2 , ideal for big c02 power

I think my QB will be finding a new purpose..... It hasn't been run much since I got the 2400 up to speed, this would be perfect.

so much more fun , the qb might get those 19.9s pushing 600 with some serious valve work.. IF the plink can do it the qb will no issue.. Although ive noticed in recent threads, QBS are coming from the factory neutered to 600fps in 177

update , 31 grain pellets , contrary to projections resulted in a massive fpe loss. The 31 grain H+N grizzlys really engaged the rifling , that may be part of it since theyre essentially slugs.. But, they may be extremely accurate , yet to test that notion.. Ill stick to the 19.9s , those things seem to really move out of this gun , and are fairly accurate at 12 yrds ( usual plinking

thanks man.. Co2 12 grams are cheap , so is the gun and walmart is 4 miles away lol... Nicest gun ive ever seen under 200 bux, never mind 129 shipped. I too avoid PCP , too much hassle and I dont hunt ..This will not throw 25 cal as is out of the box, I literally have the valve maxed out in every regard but since I had that already done for the 177, the 25 cal swap was easy.

I agree about trying to avoid the PCP. But a few co2's are a lot easier to carry around than a pump or a tank.

And at much less expense.

The QB is a bit on the heavy side. And I'd really like to stay local with a 2260 and it's heavy support in place.

But the plinkster sure covers a lot of bases.
Too bad the local supplier only has .177 because I really want a .22 co2 rifle without having to do machining.

So have you tried to modify the magazine to accept .25's or are you just using the single shot tray? Looks like there's not much extra room in those mags

single shot tray milled out for 25 cal.. im betting the marauder 25 cal magazine could be fitted, it would be a tight fit, require more milling, and take some planning.

opened up the throat by .040, gained 40 fps , now hitting 632 fps with 19.9s peak , and the first shot from a co2 cart is always 625 ish.. 17 plus fpe on co2 isnt too bad.. Its defeaning now , so i never remove the shroud.. even with the shroud its no longer backyard friendly..

The GTO's and the Ultra Shocks would be fun to try. What is your shot count per CO2 12g ?

get about 18 shots per cart that are still above 580 fps if i take 30 seconds between shots... after that , theres a few more in the low 500s.not sure if those pellets are made in 25 caliber? ive tried 31 grain pellets , best i could get was 499fps .. granted those were slugs, not diablos which may do better
