evanix rainstorm favorite pellets

hey folks
i just bought an evanix rainstorm in .22 cal 
can't wait to receive it.which pellets works best on the rainstorm?

Mine really likes the 18 grain JSB's as well as the JSB heavy 25 Grainers.  I haven't gotten to try too many different pellets yet

I only shot a few 18gr JSB but they where real good,  21gr Baracuda are good as well, but I shoot the 28gr Eun Jin for more power, again good pellets.

I had good results with the Skenco 25gr Ultra Shock, doesn't fly as well as the domed since it's a Hollowpoint but good enought for hunting, my go to pellet for small game and Roosters

Remember, if by any chance you have a bit of accuracy problems,...DON'T PANIC !!!

It's just baffels clipping, doesn't happen all the time but it does, it did on mine, you can do an easy fix yourself or you can order a set from Will Piatt, he makes custom baffels

No need to change anything,that gun shoots jsb monsters 860 all day.The one I had did and it was stock rite out of the box.Those guns are very very powerful

Stock settings are more than enough in my opinion,not into modding anyways...too much hassle as i am not a pro.

.....you right stock setting are good, If you want more power, All you have to do is screw in the hammer spring adjuster at the back of the reciver, ..........and that is a piece of cake, max setting will give you 50 FPE easy

it might be the best combo with light pellets, but not necessary for heavy ones, ......than his research is on one rifle, ....can hardly call that sience there since every rifle is different

No, I sent my to a tuner to take her up to 60 FPE and he talked me down and we kept her at 50 FPE

50 FPE is a maxed out Rainstorm, 60 FPE was what I was trying to get out of it, and I ended up with the 50 FPE that I already have,  .......hardly being talked into the lower FPE that you are mentioning

That's why we say "MY" gun likes,....... and give a variety of pellets, I didn't even mention the Crosman Ultra Mag, that work good at lower fills or the Eun Jin 32gr that probably work well.

Totally different than saying, "this is the optimal configuration for this Make/model gun" when the testing is done on one gun alone.

Again, if you post, at least you should have hands down experiance rather than just quoting someone

Guys this is getting a little out of hand. We all should know each gun will behave differently. And will like different pellets. We have just given our opinions on what our guns like as Manny said. Please do not hijack this thread with bickering because it may be useful for future owners of the Rainstorm. If you guys have any other issues handle it with PM's or something. No need to mess with a good thread.
