Air Venturi Carbon Fiber PCP question

Does anyone have this tank?   Can a second gauge be added to show tank pressure?

How old was the manufacturer date?  Was it close to the purchase date?

I have the 88cf version. It came with an inline gauge & the "born on" date was only one month prior to my purchase date.
It's been a good tank, no problems.

Wish I could get mine, it's on backorder until the first of May. Original they were due in March 30th.

There is some confusion on what day fill shops go by the hydro or manufacture date.   
example if a tank is 17 years old but the last hydro was 3 years prior some say they will not fill it because its 17 years old and last hydro does not matter.   Others will fill the tank based on the last hydra even if its 17 years old, as long as the last hydra was under 5 years.

My dive shop said they go by last hydro.   So in theory you could get a hydro done at 14 years and 11 months and the tank would be fill-able to 19 years 11 months.   

Not really tested this theory out at other fill shops.  Could be my local shop does not know the laws on them.

15 yrs from manufacture date is the rule. If your dive shop is going off the last hydro date, they're doing it wrong & could be getting themselves in a jackpot.

Yea my dive shop must not count the manufacturer date as the first hydro.

Lots of folks here fill at home with tanks that are past 15 years, not seen any posts of them blowing up.  (yet) plus they want to re-certify them as 30 year tanks.   (pending)

So I'm probably good till 2030 on my tank, at least in my area.
