I don't have the Quattro trigger but it is similar. I have seen that video and your right it will help me. I did take pictures and it may take some time but I will get it back together. It's the springs and getting them in right that is the problem. They are not the type of springs that can go flying so that is good.  Thanks....

The Valuemax is all back together and shooting fine. The E3650 spring is a bit softer but not by much. Still a little kick but not as harsh..  The four pellets all group pretty well just not all in the same spot but close in to the POI. Still have a way to break-in.  The trigger  turned out to be not much of a problem. I found that I did not have to take the trigger apart as far as I did to remove it. Lesson for next time. I can give some advice on removing the trigger. I'll tell one thing the pins need not be removed, just slid to one side to remove the safety parts. Now just shoot it to get it worn-in. The barrel is a plus. One other thing  I noticed, the HN Baracuda 13.58 gr make more noise than the other three pellets. Like the piston hits a bit harder on that pellet.

Field supply had the 1000x in .22 in turkish walnut for 150$ for the vortex. So I jumped on that. I also have another of those awesome Hammers 3x9x32 scopes coming tomorrow for 52$.

200$ total for a hatsan that weighs a bit less than my 135 beast, it should easy make the 750-800 fps with 14.3 gr pellets. That is plenty for me, especially indoors.

Should have it here and shooting by sat.

Say Bill:  I bought one of those Hammers 3-9 X 32 AO Scopes also....What a Nice Scope & Mount !  Plus it will Adj. down to 5yds Too!

I am tickled pink with my first one, hence not even mounting the cheap POS that comes with the rifle.

Mine has been rock solid on my Hatsan 135 QE Vortex beast.

I've got a Bullseye ZR Recoil Reducing Mount on order from PA. When it gets here it is going on my Benjamin Trail 1100 XL to hold a Walther  ASR scope. The Hammers Mount & Scope will go on my Hatsan 177 Vortex Striker.

And yes, offer one of those from Hatsan in a Turkish walnut stock at 200$ or less and I am all OVER that baby.

800ish fps is plenty for standard pellets.  If I need power I grab the 135 beast. I need more than that, well the .444 marlin single shot is handy and sighted in. Anyone seen a buffalo?

    No, but I do have a Pedersali/Remington Rolling Block, never fired (after leaving the factory) in 45/70. It has a Williams sight. Not a peep, but a ramp style. It's a carbine.

Hatsan Striker stock = $ 60/shipped ,  some months ago.

Just a heads up here but the VMX from Amazon, at least the 3 I have, all have 2 piece cocking arms and will not fit in the Striker wood stock without modifying the inside of it for the pin and roller on the right side of the cocking arm.
That pin and plastic roller rides on a small "shelf" for lack of a better word, inside the stock on the right side and the wooden stocks don't have it. I have the wood Striker stock and have been eyeballing trying it but for now, mine is staying in the VMX stock until I do some very careful measuring to see how much of that wood needs to be carved out to make it fit and work right.

That's odd to me because I put a Stryker 1000s in the VMX stock and the VMX in the Stryker stock. I actually had to elongate the cocking slot in the VMX stock to clear the linkage. The VMX was a drop in to the Stryker stock. I don't know if there is any difference with the wood stock, I'm just stating my experience.
Both guns cock and perform flawlessly.

Bill, my Edge stocks have that ledge and I'm guessing the plastic Striker stocks do as well, even my plastic 87 QE stock has that ledge in it, but there isn't one in the wood stocks. They extended the curve of the wood to support the action farther down the length of the stock. The newer versions of the VMX all have a 1 piece cocking arm which needs the longer slot where the older ones have a 2 piece cocking arm that doesn't need one quite so long because the arm has that split a 1/3 or so of the way down and takes less room for the arm when cocking.

OK but something is still fishy.
The green stock for the VMX had to be elongated for the 2 piece linkage of the Stryker. I did nothing to the Hatsan stock to fit the one piece VMX action/linkage which I bought new a couple months ago.

Hmmmm !!!   I switched out my synthetic stock to a factory Striker Stock , after the"  toy plastic"  one broke. Perfect fit on mine.

Only a two piece would need the roller guide.

I've asked this in several threads now and gotten very few owners to reply so here's the pics and why that wood stock doesn't work with the older style 2 piece cocking arm.
I have a brand new Hatsan 1000X and a VMX sitting apart on my bench. The 1000X was bought because I wanted to do a gas ram swap to the VMX and buying the whole Vortex rifle got me the wood stock, the gas ram, plus spare parts cheaper than trying to buy them seperately and Hatsan will not sell you some of them.

The newer style VMX rifles have a 1 piece cocking arm and yep, they drop straight into that wood Striker stock. My Spector did (same rifle, .177 barrel), has the one piece arm and was built in 2014. It's why I've asked in other threads if owners of VMX's would chime in with their build dates to figure out when Hatsan changed them.
My 3 VMX rifles were all built in 2011 and all 3 have the older style 2 piece arm which has a pin and roller on it and the wood Striker stock needs wood removed inside to create that ledge for the roller. The pics are the VMX action sitting in the Striker stock to show where that rioller hits, my VMX cocking arm, plus pics of the inside of both the VMX and Striker stocks.
I wish I had the 1 piece arms on all mine but all 3 came from the same company on Amazon that's selling them for $99.99 plus free shipping and what anyone ordering one is going to get if they decide they want one of the last 4 or 5 left.

You have my most humble apology.. I just dragged my fat lazy butt up out of my recliner and had a look..
 I have two Hatsan Striker 1000x with the synthetic stock. One I chopped the barrel down, de-tuned the piston spring and installed in the green WVM stock. Both Hatsans have the one piece linkage and I had to modify (elongate) the slot on the green stock. The Webley with it's two piece linkage and roller guide was a drop in fit to the Hatsan stock. As for the wood stock, a picture is worth 1000 words.

lol...Nope, he has a newer one. It's a guess on my part, but my guess is the build date on his is something like 2014 or newer. The newer ones have the 1 piece arm, the older versions like my 3 have the 2 piece.
