Anyone try these? They look savage! Pretty pricey at $17.99 for only 25 pellets! I'm curious of their take down power. If they offered them in .25 they might be a decent home defense round!

That seems like a pretty steep price at 72 cents a pellet.

I may get them if i was talking larger pest or game animals and needed a little extra punching power.

We have been down this road before on the forum and the general consensus is there are better methods of home defense and the pellet pistol/rifle is not the right way to go about home defense. This thread will be locked for further review by Admin

I think they're very gimmicky, much like PBA ammo.

Because I have lots of dumb thoughts, might be easier to just buy a tin of the copper coated H&N FTT's and use a Dremel with a cutting disc on it to try making your own and 200 is only $8.75.

Sorry about the HD comment, it was more intended as a joke than anything serious! Anyway, I just happened to see them and thought they were way pricey for an airgun pellet. They do look like they'd have some takedown power for larger critters, but then there are probably other rounds that would do the same for far less.

how did i know they were gonna wreak havox on your wallet. maybe buy them and and save them you know they will be collectable someday i can't see them selling to many at that price

They Look Like they Would Work REAL GOOD !!! I'm just waiting to see reviews on how well they actually shoot in various makes of Air Guns before I make a final decision to get them. It they work as well as they Look...I may just get some myself. Best Regards to All. - Tom

Not sure how well a 10.9 grain pellet will shoot in a high powered, say 18-20 fpe air rifle, but honestly not willing to spend $18 for 25 of them to find out. I'll leave that to one of you brave souls and await your review

Don't care how well they might shoot. Ain't no way I'd pay THAT kind of money. There's far too many other choices out there, that cost way less.

Exactly my thoughts. You can buy 29 tins of JSB Jumbos from Pyramyd for what 500 of these cost!!

Taking a cutting wheel to lead seems like something you want to do outside, while wearing a respirator and far from my property.

If you want more takedown power than a .22 pellet, then get a .25.

I know that they make these pellets on a machine that used to make medical equipment of some type. To me that might make them a good pellet but for the price ill stay with my jsb pellets for now
