New Leak in Town

 Well the Benjamin Wildfire was fun for a day ... Went to shoot it tonight and it was out of air, filled it and heard a steady hissing sound coming from the magazine well. I suspect the gauge block o-rings, too late to explore further tonight.

I'll be following this thread, curious as to what you're going to do with it, seems crazy that already seeing leak issues with a new release like the Wildfire.  Evidently Crosman didn't cover all their bases when coming out with this gun.

 The 0-rings get cut up when they jam the gauge block past the sharp metal from stamping , I will just toss some new ones in , after a de-burring.
Will be interesting to see if  the plumbing is the same as it is in the 1077, and my 1077 just developed a major leak yesterday too so maybe a side by side comparison.

 Yes it was the gauge block o-ring, back together and holding air so far. I did shoot a mag through it and when the tube pressure dropped it started leaking , so I Let it leak down , shot out the remainder of the air and filled it back up to 1800 psi, letting it sit to settle the seals and hope that fixes it.
 The way it looks one could order a Wildfire air tube, add a hole in a 1077 stock for the gauge , and convert a 1077 to a wildfire.

That's part of the joy of buying something.  I could break out the soapbox and extoll the dilemma consumers now face when purchasing something.  Instead, I will enjoy your exploration of you Wildfire and the potential of converting a 1077.

 Way better than CO2 in Wisconsin weather , goes through a soup can both sides and can do dime size holes on rapid fire, @ 10m. will be a great sparrow / rat rifle for close range for sure.

At some point I may address the trigger , I did clip 2 coils off the stock spring to ease reassembly and tension. and a larger roller on the trigger pin.
