Mike that is an amazing price for the compressor, I remember seeing that when it was first posted, will be interesting when you finally get it.

Yea I could not believe that they had them listed at that price. When I saw the link in Kens post I checked it out and decided to take a chance on it and ordered the second of four available. The listing has the word "hand" in the description about it stating it is a Hand Pump but shows the compressor so not sure which it is yet. I emailed the seller about if they got my message that I wanted the 110 volt model but my PP transaction message showed no note left so not sure if it  was included in the PP payment to them. I have not received any message back on my inquiry so will see what arrives.

If it is indeed a compressor that is for 220 volt its still well worth the sale piece and I can afford to have a 220 line run to the compressor in my garage. Got my fingers crossed that its a compressor and not a hand pump. Already have a hand pump so should be able to at least get my money back selling the hand pump.

I will keep informed of what arrives from the seller.

I have the hoses hooked up correctly now. I will report on the temp next time I do a fill.

Kurt, your not alone if you continue to have it heat up like that. Mine is doing the same thing and has been since I got it. Mine has the pump connected at the bottom as per the instructions and the instructions also say not to go above 70C, which is hot! The seller replied to my questioning this and said in summer could go to 80C and they put 70C as a safety precaution. I shut mine down when it gets to 65C as a precaution. I started with a 5 gallon bucket along with 2 blocks of blue ice out of the freezer and it still went up. I have since changed to a 20 gallon tub filled about 3/4 full. And I have bought a higher flow rate pump also that seemed to help a little. Mine came with a 160gph pump, and now have a 500gph. But really can't tell a lot of difference. I have 3 two litre coke bottles in the freezer along with the blue ice that I chill the water down with and start the pump with it showing about 19C and it still will hit 65C in about 3 minutes or maybe just under 4 minutes. It still works fine for topping off my rifles for which I bought it for. And when I bleed the pressure off at the end there is water and oil that blows out and the oil part started just in the last few running's. I have changed the little filters in the filter at the end of the hose that came with it since I checked them and were dirty with oil. If yours did not come with the filter at the end, you had better get one. I even bought the $60 one from Aliexpress that the others have bought to add to mine but have found I can barely use it as it takes more than half my run time to build up pressure in the filter due to its size. My compressor came from the Chon Electronic Company and the person that reply's to questions is named Joan.
Not trying to be negative on it but just a heads up of what I have done and tried to keep it cool. I do hope that getting your hoses connected right corrects your heating issue. It has already saved me a lot of stress from the worry of hand pumping. I shot quite a bit on Mothers day and could not have done so without this little compressor. It is really a life saver.

So I ran it again this afternoon with the hoses hooked up correctly. I don't have a tank so just using it to fill my marauder. It took about 2 and 1/2 minutes again to go from abut 1800 to 3000. This time it went to up to 50. I guess it helped a little having the hoses corrected. I'm only using about 3 gallons of water. I did pick up the large filter they had. Mine came with the small filter and I have that going into the large filter. I only used it 3 times so I haven't checked them yet.

Do you think maybe you can install two shut off valves on either in of the drier so you can keep the pressure in there when you're done?

Are the pumps the aquarium ones that the flow is easily stopped with your finger?  Would a more positive displacement style pump work better or will it pop the  hoses off?

I checked the small filter. It only had a small black circle right where the air enters the filter. The rest of it was still clean. The small water pump that came with it says its rated for 400L/hour. I imagine if you could keep it pressurized it would fill in less time. The instructions say to bleed it off before shutting off the compressor though. I think I read somewhere they say to do this to blow out any moisture from the high pressure cylinder.

How long did it take the vendor selling the gold filter housing to ship?  How long to arrive?  Mine has been awaiting shipping for 3 days.  Molecular sieve from eBay arrived today.

Yea it would indeed be a deal of the century if it is in fact a compressor. I have a lot of faith it will be since the shipping notice I got from the seller showed shipping weight of 15 KG or 33 pounds so it would be one super heavy duty hand pump at 33 pounds.

I have the same gold large filter hooked up to my Shoebox now and have a shut off valve on the outlet side to be able to close the valve to retain the pressure from my shoebox to the filter so once its pressurized the first time I can fill much faster. It takes about 20 minutes for the shoebox to bring the pressure up to 3000 psi in the filter so the valve really helps cut fill times down once its all up to pressure. I only leave it pressurized for the days filling so once I am done filling I bleed it all off till the next time.

I believe that the another reason they say to bleed off the pressure after every fill on the Chinese compressors is so it does not start with HPA already built up since that is hard on the motor to start up against the pressure being in the cylinders from the previous filling. I will know more when mined arrives and I get it all setup and running. hope mine does not heat up as fast as some here are doing. Its interesting to see that some get hot fast and other do not, makes me wonder if the cylinders are sealing correctly or if some have a issue with piston to cylinder fits or poor ring sealing.

I got mine in about two weeks and it showed awaiting shipping for a few days as well. Be patient as it will be worth the wait in keeping moisture out of your tanks and guns.

I placed the order for mine on the 5th of May, and it came in on the 12th of May. At least that is the day I got the email requesting me to verify that I got it. Email came late that night so I either got it that day or on the 11th. Either way it got here quicker than I expected.

Taso, I most likely could if I had the proper fittings etc for the pressure and size. But I had rather have my pump running cooler like it should. After watching all the online videos of the pumps running and filling at least 500cc tanks without stopping and over heating I have been dismayed. Makes me wonder if the videos are not being edited to make it look like running all that time non stop. I know one video doing a demo of one that I think was posted on here was suspicious to me as while watching the video and the long fill time on the big tank I noticed when panning to the compressor and back that the temp had conflicting temps on it. I noticed the temp drop from in the high 30's down to low 20's while supposedly filling the big tank. Never known of that to happen.
The little pump that came with mine is rated at 600l/h which equates to 160 gph. And is 240V. The one I have connected now if 1900l/h or 500gph. And there is not a whole lot of difference. The water stream coming back out into the tub is not trying to blast the water as you may think. If the water line was level and the water came out straight from the hose it may have traveled 2 inches and then fell down. The new pump it may flow out 3 inches and then go down. The new pump is also 120V and a lot bigger in size. I have another I ordered that came from China and is a 240V I intend to hook up and it is 660gph if I remember right, and is variable also as is the one currently running.
As far as it goes, I can fill my guns and will keep doing that til it breaks and then will decide what I want to do next. 

One other thing, I actually would like to see this little pump with a lower rpm motor on it. Might take longer to fill but would take a lot of stress off of it.

I noticed on all the video's online of the compressor running they only show the small filter in use. I wonder if the larger filter has enough extra back pressure to cause the increase in operating temps? I will try a fill with just the small filter and see if it makes a difference.

It is possible for the big filter to restrict flow enough to cause the compressor to work harder and heat up faster. I know my big filter filled with sieve that's packed by tapping the filter body on a hard surface to compact it tightly together before assembly of the end cap. I could still blow through it with my mouth quite easy so the filter would have to be packed super tight to restrict flow enough IMO.

Let us know if removing it help or not.

Just a thought on the heat issue. The video's made in China that show low temps are running the motors using 50 HZ electricity so the motors are most likely running 20% slower than with the 60 HZ electricity used here in the USA. I would think that the higher speed may be generating more heat. Just a guess on my part.

I noticed another thing last night watching one of those videos. There is one of a guy filling a tank. I notice he has the water output line running into a drain in the floor. He doesn't show where the input line comes from. I would take it that he is using a constant supply of cooler fresher water to keep the temperature down on the compressor.

To be honest, I am using an tidey cat bucket filled half way, dropped in the pump and let the pump do it thing. When I first got the compressor, I used a reusable frozen ice pack that I added in the bucket thinking it would aid in the cooling of the compressor. It did not make a difference in the tempature so, I stop using it. I just use the water in the bucket (hot) and let my compressor run it course which so far is doing well. What I am saying, don't worry about the heat and let it run.

Thanks for the input and piece of mind KZ. Since I'm only using to fill my gun I don't think I have anything to worry about. I'm not hitting the max recommended temperature. Just surprised how fast it heats up. I did do a little experimenting tonight with the filters. I ran with just the small filter and then with just the large filter. Pressure fill was same as before 1800 to 3000. With just the small filter it only took a minute to fill my marauder. Temp went up to 40. With just the large filter it took 2 minutes to fill and temp went up to 50. Last time I filled using both filters it took almost 2-1/2 minutes for the fill and temp was at 50. I also opened both filters to check. Small filter still just had a small black spot at the entrance. It did feel damp. The large filter also had a small lighter dark spot at the entrance but felt dry. To be safe I'm going to continue to use both filters.

I use both inline except I use a diabolo air dry system which is the same as the gold filter but mine is red and cost three times more than the gold filter😳 My compressor so far keeps chugging along hot water and all

Another side note for what it's worth, I use this little compressor more often  than my omega super charger and no I am not selling it. Just a backup or if I for some reason need to fill an empty scuba tank which is not that often. Compact lighter than my omega which is a plus when you want to move it around. This compressor works for my needs. Topping off my guppy tank or my scuba tank when I go to the range to shoot or plinking on my back deck or pole barn. I like this compressor for it's portability charging the airtube on my airguns is Super fast. Sure beats a hand pump😎. At the time I purchased the omega,  there wasn't much to chose from. Heck now I could buy approximately 5 of these little compressors for the price of one omega compressor😳 My choice is for the little guy. If I had the choice when the omega compressor was purchased, it would be this compressor. No doubt about it. Cheap enough to buy if mine is beyond repair. Parts are cheap to rebuild repair this compressor which is a plus. I'm not a salesman trying to convince all or any of you, just telling showing you with my you tube video first one btw what I like about this little compressor is All. Hope this helps others made a decision whether or not to buy one. I would in a heartbeat but another if my little compressor dies on me😎
