This is one of my favorite rifles, and especially since installing a Vortek PG2 powerplant. I have now shot approximately 1500 pellets through this gun, and am still having quite a time getting any type of consistency or shot groups even after installing the PG2?? I have changed my hold as it still seems hold sensitive, changed the scope to insure I didn't have a bad scope, and tried all (approx. 8-10 different brands, weights, designs) kinds of pellets with little success. Once in awhile it will group and stack shots, and all of a sudden start throwing them randomly again. Out of the 8 AG's I have, and a few magnums, this is the only gun I can't seem to get any type of consistency out of.....?? Any ideas?

I don't know if you removed the barrel/ block from the action but it wouldn't hurt to see if there's any play in the barrel block in the locked up position. Ed

A thought I had was count your barrel lands. The 12 land barrels tend to like larger pellet Dia. I find the bores loose compared to the 8 land barrels. Straight Shooters has a nice chart for pellet sizes.
