Could anyone suggest a method of removing the plastic insert holding this spring and hammer in place? I hate to beat it out of there with something and break it. I appriociate any suggestions. There is a piece of debris getting the cocking mech jammed is why I need entry.
And no, I will not be shooting my desk today the rifle is without an air cylinder and Pellet
Thanx

Yes Sir; and a big piece at that. The groups were looking good and can't help but get better without that thing getting banged around inside. I only had one complication during disassembly and that is identifying where that little spring came from up by the little piece shaped like a wishbone. My thinking is that it came from underneath the wishbone on the end where it sets in the above image. It came out when the hammer spring came out so I'm not entirely sure. Will look at the exploded view another member posted but not sure it will be of much help. I'm amazed at just how few videos are out there showing disassembly of Hatsan rifles. I'm excited to see how she does after a nice cleaning.

The little spring sits on top of the "wishbone" and the other end of the spring sits inside the hole on the breech section that separates from the trigger tube. I wouldn't bother really polishing anything, so much as cleaning and lightly lubing the working bits

thanks. I ended up doing other things yesterday and didnt get a chance to reassemble the rifle. You description of where it goes fits what I was thinking. I appreciate the insight. I will get her all cleaned up and sprayed down with some silicone spray I bought. Maybe some of the 100% silicone in some places of higher wear. thanks

I find for metal to metal wear points a Teflon containing lube, or 30 Wt. ND oil, some use a thin film of moly grease.
