Good Game Camera Night-new pictures from last night

I had a pile of chicken wing bones leftover from lunch on Sunday.  I piled them on a plate along with the cheapest catfood in the world and put them down in the bottom land.  To get a little better shot I put the plate up on some bricks so I could see it a little better.  

Very near this area is a LARGE dead tree.  I'm now suspecting it has become a den tree to the raccoons.  The game trails all go near the base of it, but the first holes in it are pretty high.  I really need to get that tree cut down before it lands in a neighbor's yard, but it is in a place where I'm not sure it is on my property or not since it is heavily wooded.

This one is moving at high speed for some reason, so I'm guess....

This one came by a little later, but I can't tell if it was a new one or not.

The last one came by early in the morning just before light.


And of course what night would be complete without the usual cat.  In this case she belongs here as it is my daughter's  cat.  

I have a bunch of scrap from the Church picnic yesterday to put out tonight!  I'll post up in the morning.  I didn't see any possums, but it is garbage day on Monday here so I'm guessing they were raiding trash cans.

I thought it started the 5th of September but they moved it until the 17th!!!  I was all primed for some serious bandit hunting and now I have to wait over a month and a half!  Squirrel season starts here pretty soon so I'll have something to do. 

On the 28th our local Predator Hunting Club is having a "Crow Bowl".  I'm getting the 20 gauge out and going to buy one of those hundred boxes of game loads.  I plan on winning.

Yeah the cat is kinda scrawny.  Now her brother lives with my mom and HE would be a pot full!  I'm still shocked that I haven't seen more possums, skunks, and the fox that lived here last year.  Maybe there is a big enough coon infestation that it is keeping the others away.  I mean a big coon is bigger than a fox!

I haven't seen many Country Rat's this year in my neck of the wood's ether, not even roadkill. Ed

I would have thought it would be busier with the table scraps in the bottom lands, but they just weren't moving around last night for some reason.  Here is the only good shot I got as TWO took the bait.
