I followed Fuzzy Grub's lead and got the Magpul Moe Mlok. Love the look of it. It will require a bit of trimming and modification but I'm good with that considering how cool they are. Just an FYI if you want one they are now discontinued from Magpul. Picked mine up for $35 shipped on Ebay.

I'm hoping that I can make some headway on the Prod build tomorrow night. A wonderful care package has arrived from Fuzzy Grub with lots of Prod goodies. I now have the missing pistol grips. BSB mod O rings, new hammer spring, complete set of O rings for the valve and gauge block. breech O ring, new poly TP and such. Thanks FG, you are awesome! Hoping that all of that will wake up the lack luster power of the Prod. After some surgery on a super stubborn valve screw that left a trail of twisted and broken Allen wrenches and one seriously frustrated Prod owner, I finally have it totally disassembled and everything cleaned and ready to go back together.

The first of the new pieces that I ordered also arrived. Got the UTG quick connect scope rings for my...as PBguns would say...comically large 6-24x50 scope that I plan to use on it. Will have new bipod, the AR15 forearm, new magazines and tactical butt pad should be here on Monday. I hear that my care package from another forum member is ready to come to me. That includes the RAI adapter, folding stock adapter, AR buffer tube and stock and a TKO. I'm thinking that we might have a complete Prod in a week or so.

Resumed working on the Prod tonight. It was pitifully underpowered when it came to me and I was sure that I'd find the culprit on disassembly but all seemed ok. I cleaned and lubed everything. Changed all the O rings including the breech. I drilled out the TP to .110 and added a new hammer spring. Installed the BSB O ring mod. Carbon Fiber wrapped the barrel shroud and the air tube while everything was apart.

Had no clue if we had solved the performance issue or not. Much better than before for sure. Little tuning of the hammer spring and the stroke produced a pretty decent 16 shot group.

I couldn't resist showing you guys a little preview. It'll look completely different once it dawns all it's new AR furniture, TKO, and such but still kinda cool in a "That scope might be a little overkill" sort of way.

Working on my target of a mid power 24 shot tune tonight. Loving my SCBA cylinders by the way!! Amazing to me how sensitive it is to the slightest adjustment of hammer and/or stroke.

Sweet care package in the mail box today. Special thanks to Evo Shift for hooking me up with the AR goods!!! I modded the Magpul Moe MLOK handguard and got it mounted. Pretty simple process. I drilled out the heat shield, used my spindle sander to fit it around the air res and shroud. I absolutely love to look of it. I have a second barrel band ordered so I'll add it in the center of the hand guard once it comes but it's pretty solid now. The only bummer to the deal is that my overkill 6-24x50AOEG scope won't clear it even with tall rings.  I substituted a CP 3-9x40AO instead. It's probably a better fit for the Prod carbine anyway. The scope is mounted on UTG quick disconnect rings.

Added all the RAI adapter and the buffer tube and AR stock that I got from Evo Shift along with the TKO. Pretty cool that the TKO was already wrapped with the exact CF wrap that I used on the air res and the shroud. I removed the sling mount from the stock because I have the single point sling mount for the buffer tube. Also added the same butt pad that I used on the Armada. New bipod with another quick disconnect is mounted on a pic rail on the hand guard.









You can see why the big scope is a no go. The CP barely clears the hand guard.



TKO is a ridiculously perfect match.



Upper has to be modded to clear the shroud.





Lower has to be clearance both front and rear also.



Properly placed 1" hole for the gauge.



I am super happy with how it has turned out. Also anxious for Saturday so I can get the scope zeroed and do some shooting!!

Couple of questions: Where did that grip on the grip come from? Also, how difficult was it to remove the OEM sling mount from the AR stock? Does it just unscrew? I replaced the front forehand screw in mine with a regular stud for a normal sling swivel but I'd like to replace the mount with a stud so I can remove the sling quickly if I want to.

Thanks Ed! The sling mount is mounted with a screw so super simple. I much prefer the single point slings. Have same one on the Armada. Rubber butt pad cover the hole.



The grip glove I borrowed from my NP pistol. It's made for a Sig. Doesn't fit the Prod perfectly but pretty close. $10 on Amazon,
