I'm in tinker mode and taking the rifle out of the stock and when I got the cheek rest unscrewed and off got a little surprise..it's not hollow, it's a solid chunk of synthetic and the threaded stud for raising and lowering the cheek rest is metal with a metal wheel to turn it, weighs a good pound or so.More to follow plus pics....
