It appears to be a near perfect quail hunting machine. My sentiments exactly but in my case it would be grouse, I've seen more than one kind of game bird in the tree rows between the fields I mentioned earlier in this thread and getting an idea of where they're roosting a person could probably do pretty good right at day break when moving out of their roost.I imagine the M30 would be good for a lot of game birds. Quail are a pain. Never stop moving, always run uphill and often stay out of shotgun range.Problem I have with some airgun hunting is getting more than one shot off if need be. Most PCP bolt rifles are slow and difficult to cock, disturbing my view through the scope. If there were a relatively inexpensive, quiet, long range capable, mag fed airgun that had a bolt that was quick and easy to manipulate, I'd be all over it like ugly on a gorilla. Another thing about the M30; plain ol' traditional stock. I don't care for anything that looks like the winning entry in a taffy-pulling contest.

Sorry to get off subject but I wonder if Mrodair will be handling the Spa LR700W .177 and .22 pumper? Regards, Tom

Regards, TomI could be wrong but I think it might be mention either in this thread or another one for SPA. I'll try finding it and if I do I'll edit this post showing where it is.

My LR700W showed up today. Didn't have much time to play but noticed some things. It takes a real man to pump it, pump 3 is harder than pump 12 on my steroid. I had to lay it across my knees and use both arms to pump. It has to be cocked to pump. It does have a piston with o-ring. The piston has an adjustment rod. The wooden pump handle was missing one of the two threaded sleeves and screw. One screw was loose in the carton. So I need to come up with a sleeve and one screw. The wooden stock and pump handle looked pretty nice. Regards, Tom
