I stole this idea (and target) from another forum so I hope they don't get mad at me. But why can't we join in on the fun? Ok, the goal is to shoot a five shot group on each of the dime sized targets. Any shot that completely misses the dime counts as a miss. I tried it today with my mutant and boy I'll tell you it isn't as easy as it looks. Dime sized groups maybe but it's a lot harder to put them groups exactly where you want especially in the slightest breeze.

I shot this with my mutant and I'm actually impressed (more with the gun than myself

) I took all these shots on a 210 bar fill and clearly I should have refilled towards the end or started with a higher fill pressure. Anyway here are my results. I think I missed completely 13 times

. My target backboard is so beat up that I can't get targets to lay flat so each shot tears the paper a little. My printer was running out of ink so the target is light and none of the black ink showed up....

Tweeter. I really like this idea since I punch a lot of paper in the back yard.

But, my max range out there is about 35 yards. I know that will be a real challenge for me. When the weather breaks, I'll give it a try with my 397 and Discovery.

A good challenge.

If you look around a little, you can find those targets and plenty more right here on the GTA.

I've have to scale it down to use my trap. I can send stuff a long ways off into the woods, but the only gun I have a scope mounted to is my pistol.... plus there's the underbrush.

Nice Marvin! Good idea drawing a smaller point of aim on each, that helps I would imagine.

The aimpoint didn't show up very good but may have helped some. Might try again latter after i get the air tank I ordered. Pumping kinda not worthy.

none of my rifles are that powerful, but i'd give a 25yd target a try

I think the next relatively wind-free day we have I'm going to try it at 75 yards but only 3 shot groups. I'll be happy if I hit each dime once!

I WASOUT TODAY WITH MY CRICKET AT 45 YARDS HOPE TATERPOST MY SHOTS IT WAS WINDY AND JUST REALLY GETTING USE TO THE GUN. ITS A TACK DRIVER I THINK

Friends and I are using this target, just print it on the paper and try, it's simple and challenging. We shoot them at 20, 30 and 40 meters (22, 33, 44y), from any position.

Here is some of my results, HW100 .177 @12fpe, 22y: 2700/3000 points

And same gun, but 33y: 1810/3000 points

Obviously, at that time, barrel needs some cleaning...

Maybe you're counting the paper and ink?

Here is my current favorite. I took the 50 dot target from here and colored in each bull to solid black instead of an outline... easier for me to see with a Peep / blade sight... but I ain't shootin 50 yards!!
