Any one know if its cock on open?
Does anyone know if the Gauntlet has a one stage or two stage trigger? PA lists it as having a one stage adjustable trigger on their description of the rifle, but list it as an adjustable two stage on the specs.I think the gun may be based on a QB79 Repeater. If it is, then the trigger may be a one stage trigger that is adjustable for trigger pull weight, sear travel, and trigger travel. If any of you have any experience with the QB79, your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hmm...-I did not spend all of my "squirrel away" money when I bought my last AG. - I don't have a .177 pcp- Have a LOT of .177 pellets that I'm not using since going to the dark side- Gauntlet not due in till May (enough time to finish testing my Nova)- Unless I hear some bad reports; I'm on board. Shhhh.... don't tell the wife ; )
I am by no means a "big guy" at 28 years old 5'8" 160 pounds with a "semi-athletic physique" AKA I am somewhat fit with a blossoming beer belly.
BTW it sounds like you got a real nice gun in your signature, love to see a pic. (just not too nice of one I don't wanna drool everywhere for the second time today )
Now this just upsets me......I just finished my QB79 modifications. Air Venturi repeater kit, Ninja 13ci bottle regulated at 1100, and TKO installed. And now this comes along?!? Basically a synthetic stock version..... Just my luck. Oh well. I'll just purchase one of these as well.
If it will be in 25 caliber I will be watching very close to decide if I need one or not.Mike
Any idea how much plenum there is?Not much point in bigger calibers if the plenum is too small.
Sounds like the pressure release key for changing tanks dumps the remaining air in the tank. Not that big a deal for me because I would not swap tanks. It could mean a lot of extra effort for those who hand pump.
