.22 Armada...the journey...

It's nice to get everything done and just enjoy it! I too have gotten burned out and tired of modifying and tuning and decided just to enjoy and shoot my toys then I get bored and back at it lol beautiful guns by the way!

You are so right about this Dillon.  I finally took some time to shoot some targets yesterday and it was a real joy to get back to enjoying the gun.  Don't know how long it will last before I get another itch.  I practically blew the noggin off of one target.  30 FPE with soft lead pellets expand and smack really hard especially at the 25 to 40 yard distances I was shooting.

 30 FPE will hit hard enough @ 100 yards too, BTW that laser sight looks a lot like the Swiss Arms one I got , it does have nice adjust-ability and stays where you set it even on springers.

I'm planning some 100 yard shooting  before long with both the .22 and the .25. I like the little laser so far. Cool super small package. Very touchy adjustments but I did get it dialed in.

I have had seven successful take downs on furry targets at 80 yards with my .22 set at 30 FPE.  I have not dispatched anything at 100 yards yet.  Shot placement is key to success at the longer ranges which my HF barrel allows me to do.  However, I feel more comfortable and confident at take downs 60 yards or less.  Those are much easier to do.


I like that IR too, but the scope is more my speed especially with the 16x magnification with my old eyes.

The laser is more novelty for me but just had to have it.  The big scope on the Prod was also done for more of the "look" than anything else but it turns out that I really like it. Old eyes here too. Haven't had a chance to sight in the 32x on the Armada yet but I can tell that I'm going to like it twice as much. lol... It's intended spot is on the .25.

Ok, last time to see the .22 wearing the plain furniture. Couldn't resist a few shots in our rock gardens just so I can remember her when she looked like everyone else's....
