Well I am just as speechless as everyone else.  Great job Terry!!!  I just had to run this one through SynRodSteve's Shot String Analyzer.  I don't know how well it will display with so many shots.  We don't usually see such a long string.

Thanks Keith. No one is more surprised than I am. Never dreamed that it was possible. That's why I ran 2 strings back to back just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.

One has to realize with that many shots on regulation that pellets can cause the ES to go alot wider due to slightly different weights. Also if you don't wait enough time between shots could cause it also.

I do think at least some of the ES is pellet related. I culled zero pellets. I'm trying to train myself to slow down in between shots but if/when I forget I haven't noticed any difference when I go one right after the other or count to 10 in between. Assuming that the setup in the .22 has plenty of plenum.

Thanks Travis. I know you are correct. I just made a guesstimation on the reg setting. I was totally surprised when it still have the fps that I was looking for set that low. My goal was max shots at 30fpe so considering the strings I think I'll just leave it be and move on. I feel like the 2.9ES is perfectly acceptable for the 50 yards or less that I envision me using it.

If you want a 2% ES out of that string for long range hunting/shooting, you can fill to 2150psi and shoot 35 shots.  Those come out to be 2.07% (18 fps) averaging 29.84 FPE.

I guess I just can't stop experimenting.  I had some different shorter springs that Tim had sent me that I decided that I'd try tonight. Pretty good string. Few less shots but little tighter ES. Food for thought I suppose.

70 shots @ 30fpe. 2.29ES. 1.59 efficiency using 24psi/shot.

Took my G6 pump handle to a machine shop and they wouldn't tap it for 1/2 NPT.

I drilled mine out with a cheap step bit and tapped it myself with this $14 tap set from Harbor Freight.

It's nice to get everything done and just enjoy it! I too have gotten burned out and tired of modifying and tuning and decided just to enjoy and shoot my toys then I get bored and back at it lol beautiful guns by the way!
