Highly Irreverent RWS question.

I'm putting on my hard-hat now, so if you guys throw things at me i'll be partly covered anyway.
My question is, can any of the currently available nitro-power plants be fitted into an RWS 34?
It might be nice to have, to try, possibly to switch back and forth sometimes. I know, springs are the traditional power......but i'd like to try nitro and really don't want to spend the total amount on whole new gun. Also, i like my 34 and might like it more if it settled down, as nitro is advertised to do.
THANKS, piper

Nope, the Diana guns have a stem that runs down the center of the piston, this is the lock up for the trigger group, in order for the Nitro piston to work you need a rifle that the trigger lock up is on the bottom of the piston!

Totally agree with Mark. Your best bet is a JM GRT kit or Vortex. She with be a whole new animal.

Just what does the Vortex kit or installation do for the 34? I am not clear on it after my reading.
How does it compare with the turbo tunes and such?

Not familiar with the turbo tunes but I have tuned some of my guns with JM kits and Vortexed my brothers. Both kits will make cocking very smooth and reduce recoil / twang. The JM kits use a fitted guide and top hat along with his special lubes. The Vortex kit uses a top hat too but the lower guide is a double guide. One in the spring and a tube on the outside. The tube dampens the spring. The JM kit dampens with snug fitted guide and lubes.
Both kits are an excellent choice to make your gun one super smooth shooter.
