Air Venturi compressor?

I was just watching a video review of the FX Wildcat.  Near the end of the video they show a guy filling the gun with what appears to be an Air Venturi compressor.  I did some quick researching online and can't find anything like the compressor in the video.  Anyone know?  I'm just curious.

Looks like an mrodair airmax.... just a different shell and a new name.

Absolutely.

I suspect Air Venturi has signed an importation license with the same manufacturer of Mrodair and will change the color and the name.

It is like the tennis shoe companies in China that Reeboks one day, NIkes the next.
Rifle scope manufaturers do it all the time, too.

Just to quell it now,

NOT the same as the Mrod Air compressor.  Not the same manufacturer.  But these things do always look somewhat similar...so I can understand the confusion.

I can't tell you guys too much just yet, but I have tested this unit personally and am very impressed with it. There will certainly be more to come. 

Like I said, can't say too much, but I will answer what I can for those that have questions.

I was looking for fill station adapters on ebay the other day and stumbled on this compressor:

I am going to say it's water cooled is a given.

The two questions:

Is the compressor Oil filled, or oilless?

Are there driers/separators in the line?

That should answer a lot of the questions, without letting too much info out..

We need low oil, but we won't be breathing it so it does not have to be 100% free.

I enjoyed that video, the comperessor definitely say Air Venturi on it, hopefully it wiil be another compressor we have the option to buy, might see it in the 2017 shot show?

Yes, they are oil filled.  It's a relatively small amount and they are emptied at the factory before shipping.  Oil Changes are quick and easy.

And yes, there is one oil filter inline.  Also, very easy to replace when necessary. 

And yes, water cooled as well.

I agree with you Steven.  We use a NARDI compressor here and even it takes oil....it's hard to escape.  And to your point....this new compressor (or most of the compressors you'd purchase for Air gun use) is NOT for breathing air.

I agree, the more options we have is a good thing.  Plus I think (imo)Air Venturi is a trusted name in our sport.  It was also cool to see the hardcore powder burner guy in that video get turned on to airguns and see how awesome they are.

Steve, All diving compressors are oil lubed and use oil separators on the high pressure side. An oiless compressor is basically a disposable compressor with plastic rings,and often plastic pistons.  There are "NO" High Pressure oil less compressors, simply because they cannot produce high pressure without self destruction.

Not all use oil, rix sweet air compressor doesn't have oil.

 I called and Tyler is at the shot show and He will call me when he gets back so I can ask some questions that need to be answered. I did get pricing but none of that means anything if my questions are answered incorrectly.
