One of the least repsected (at least after the "tube-thickness-controversy) PCPs.
Yet I still trust mine. Did take it apart and measure the thicknesses as mentioned in this "sticky" and decide it was within limits for the recommened fill pressure (1500psi).

HAs been DETUNED (originally shooting 28 foot pounds / 7-8 shots inside 4%) to 19.7 foot pounds/ 20 shots.
Recrowned (likely not needed as it was a pretty/clean crwon to start with, LDC added (how-brew), chamber polished, and deburred on the inside.
Haven't shot it in 3 months (or more). Found it still holding the bottom of the swwet spot (about 850psi), so evidently no leaks. Filling back to to 1500psi took 26-30 pump strokes (depending if you could the stokes that go into pressurizing the fill hose or not).

OK...it was "off" by about 1/8th inch left and about 1/8th inch down. That's not bad for 3 months of just sitting there and a temperature change of +25F. Only difference I could fine form that was 1/8MOA POI shift and 4 fps less average velocity.
Scope lists 1/4MOA adjustments. That would be like 1/20ths of an inch at 20yards. 2 clickes left / 2 clicks up got me on, so it's more like 1/3MOA adjustments on this inexpensive (TF China made) scope than 1/4th.
Longest range I could manage today is 35 yards. Refilled and tried two 10-shot groups with the same (JSB 15.9gr) pellets. For the record, the scope height is about 1.45" over bore line, its a 3-9X scope, and adjusting the AO may have shifted the POI by a tiny bit (which is common with really cheap scopes).

YIPPIE..in MOA terms, the groups stayed pettery constant over 105 feet. May turn to "carp" in another 20 feet...may stay constant. Past expericne has lead me to belive this rifle/these pellets/this speed will stay pretty much on the 1.5-1.6MOA path to 50yards (past that is any one's guess).
Bad press...price increase (I gought it as the $100 PCP...it's now like $175)...low pressure operation...whatever. it's reliable, accurate enough, powerful enough, reliable enough, and stable within 1/8th MOA over months of storage.
It's a hunter.

The price is now a problem since the Maximus came out. Have a 2000 psi rifle with a lot of aftermarket support, not to mention factory, for about the same price.

Four in the running for the lowest priced PCP's.
1. XS60C (Flying Dragons PCP) $175.
2. Mrodair Air Max varmint $199
3. Crosman Maximimus $199.99
4. DIY HPA converted QB79 (price depending on how cheaply you can find the rifle and the parts to do it yourself).
Are various reasons to pick one over the other, or ignore all of them.
But will say there hasn't been as many choices for the $ until now.
