My new PCP Custom pistol,stock modded

After a long wait,Fed-ex finally arrived.I unpacked it and admired it for awhile then filled it up to 2000psi and started tuning with the crony,and settled on 8 good shots at 780 FPS avg.I removed the r/g dot and mounted a 2x20 Millet pistol scope ,will get a 2x6 later on. Tomorrow i will sight in for 20 yds,that will set me up from 7 to 30 yds POA,using 14.3 CPCH and will try some Beeman and H&N when i get some.Can,t wait till Sept.3 for squirrel season.

As far as shot count,i only hunt with my guns,so i could lower the power and get 16 shots ,but i wanted about 8 hard shots at 19 FPE,or i could raise power a little more and only get about 4 hard shots. My 8 shots are all in the 780FPS ,so i could shoot more but the psi would start dropping,and so would the FPS.

Pindog, Yes that is a Roy Weid  Mod.16,.22cal,12" BBL.,6" shroud,stainless steel tube and stain.fill fitting,with all the other internal goodies he does.It only requires a 2000fill pressure,i have the scuba tanks and etc. but i can pump this pistol up in less than 1 min. no sweat.

Paul is the man. I thought I was the only person on here that cared nothing about shot stringing. Rodents' Rapture is strickly for huntin. Don't care that my rig gets 6 shot from 833 - 757fps with 17.1 Beeman pells at 2800psi. It only takes one shot when you're good, or have a scope and when that shot is at 23+ fpe it makes me very happy.

Tworr did all the shot string test, I did the "kill a squirrel with a pistol @ 60ft test"

Take the 8 shots, kill 8 squirrels......done!

"shot string test" vs "kill test"- Hah, I just want to know exactly what my 2240 is capable of and I enjoy the testing. It keeps my wife away from the 2240. She has declared it as her gun. :/

Yeah Todd, you may be in trouble now that you've included her in your reasoning. Hope she doesn't read the forum.
I think i may try one of those stocks. The tank will serve as a good forestock once i get it bracketed but the thing is getting a bit heavy. I'm also thinking of a forestock hand grip to attach to the bottom of the bracket. I was working on the HiPAC for the 2250b. I seem to keep getting side-tracked with running to shoot a tree-rat. This pistol shooting kick is really great.

I'm with you, since I'm mainly hunting I want max power vs high shot count, I even got my Evanix pistol powered up to 30 FPE and down to 6-7 shots

 That looks like a pretty straight cut. Did you insert dowel pins to keep it from flipping sideways?
