Material for Springer Breech Seal?

What material and hardness do you recommend for springer breech seals?

Depends on type gun and how breech is held closed etc ....
What your working with is of great help !

Ooops.

First up is a Gamo Accu with a rotary breech.

I also have a Webley Tommahawk (Hatsan 95) and a Crosman Shockwave with conventional break barrels that will need new seals.

If you can't get OEM replacements .... Likely a Polyurethane material could be used and made to work.

I'm looking to avoid OEM replacements. Rather than pay $4 plus shipping and having to call the vendor/mfg at my inconvenience, I'd rather grab a piece of bar stock and turn one on my lathe.  Right now I can't find one for my Accu and Gamo tells me to send in the rifle because it needs disassembled.

So, I was hoping to hear from someone who makes their own and find out if I should buy some polyurethane or urethane and what durometer - 40A, 75D, 90A,, etc.
