For giggles while turned up ran some H&N Barracuda 21.1 grain with them doing 925 fps producing 40 ft lbs !
I read about some problems with the trigger wearing out prematurely. Has that been worked out?
Googling Taipan Mutant lead me to Airgun Nation where there's been a lot of criticism. All in all seems like there aren't many dissatisfied actual owners.
When I see a guy like Ernest Rowe (who works on most all brands of bullpups) say the things he does about the quality of the Mutant (especially the trigger) I believe him, the other guy not so much.

He sells competing brands. When I see a guy like Ernest Rowe (who works on most all brands of bullpups) say the things he does about the quality of the Mutant (especially the trigger) I believe him, the other guy not so much.

I had been flopping between a vulcan and a wildcat. I really really like mine. I've got it tuned down to 29fpe for 48 shots in a 225bar fill. That is ALL DAY in the woods.
