Arrivals and Departures!

I have not seen too many posts lately of Starling kills.  Well, until this week, I had not seen Starlings in my area.  About three days ago, I saw a small flock (about 15 birds) circling and lighting in my neighborhood.  Yesterday and today, the construction crew has been working elsewhere and I had some spare time to sit and watch.  This morning, four Starlings were on the "Arrival" schedule.  However, only three were listed on as "Departures".  The one in the picture is now a permanent resident here.  DRT
This is the first kill for the new Maximus .22 using 14.3 gr. Domes.  The shot was 35 paces from my shooting location.

Good shooting Mike!  Noone likes illegal aliens.  I hope you fill up your yard with more "permanent residents"

Nice shooting Mike. I have not ever seen any in my neck of the woods, but when I visit the grand kids in ct. their yard is overrun with them. They are ugly birds indeed.

Guys, thanks for the welcomed replies.  It seems that the Starlings are only active during the mornings.  I will keep watching.
