New QB78 deluxe from ^&$@_=s FPS issues

Hope u get it sorted out...I have a QB78D from him who wont be named and a AR2078 from AGD....both stock, over a year old ...zero problems and both tack drivers....I really like these guns, looking forward to purchasing a AR2078A in 177.....good luck....

Since I just edited almost every post in this thread, I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone. I am also making a post that will be a sticky in the Announcement Gate. And possibly other places too.

I have a feeling that the XP valve was never installed. In fact I bet your gun is completely stock. That fiber filter can disintegrate and clog the gun in a matter if shots.

Haha Ill be perturbed lol!  On that note. Will I need a special tool to get the "mystery valve" out? I have a screwdriver thats maybe 12 inch long but I dont feel that will be long enough.

Yeah,  it seems easier if you make a tool, a long screw driver will do the trick, but there is a thread on this forum detailing how to make a valve removal tool out of a 7/16 socket. I did it and it works very well for me. If you don't have a Dremel tool, you can still make one with only a hack saw. Just look for "QB78 valve removal tool."

I removed my valve using a piece of flat metal 1/8" stock wedged  in a 7/16" socket.  Just happened to have a cut off piece the right length to fit tightly across the widest point and protrude enough  to engage the valve slot.

Well......

Took it apart last night. Pretty easy. And I think I found the issue. All the bolt and barrel seals looked great and the transfer port did have an aftermarket seal and was seated properly.

The valve on the other hand...Take a look at this pic I took down the tube. You can clearly see the pin is so bent that it doesn't even align with the hole. I didnt have a valve tool to remove it so im kind of out of luck right now. But there is no telling how bent that pin is going back to where the hammer strikes it.

Not sure how you wouldnt notice that upon inspecting and installing it to send to a customer . But I guess thats why you guys mentioned what you did earlier about the Merchant that will no longer be named lol.

Also its barely piercing the bottom CO2 as a result im thinking. Smallest hole ever lol.
