What vintage is your rifle? I just received a new one last month that is putting out 11-12 fpe. It is the standard model with beech stock. It has a white plastic (delrin?) spring guide. JSB 7.87=826fps, JSB 10.34=697fps.
I have been toying with the idea of a Vortek kit for it. It certainly does not need more velocity, but I love small groups. For all I know Weihrauch has already copied the Vortek kit on newer production. It is not nearly as easy to shoot well as my LGV, but it has a charm that I just can't resist. Maybe like the girl that you could not decide if she was attractive or not, but sure had something you liked, but could not define.
I lust after the E version with the walnut stock. If I knew I would get one that looks like the one pictured on AOA website, I would buy it in a heartbeat. I wonder if the front swivel would come off and not show a mar on the barrel under that spot.

Hans Weihrauch tells me it is 2010 model.
I suspect your rifle has been modified as the current Weihrauch catalog lists the HW35E at 230mps with Hobby pellets.
My first 35 was tuned by Motorhead who installed a VORTEK kit.
It was shooting 12fpe and he bought it from me..
This one is mine:

OK
I saw on youTube someone in Europe was putting in DELRIN spring followers.
I guess it was the Dutch.
Weihrauch doesn't do it.

It brought the fun back into airguns.
At my time of life I am through trying to impress people.
As of this moment, the R1 is with Scott where I am having the VORTEK kit removed.
No fun at 1100fps.
The TX200 is getting heavier every day but I will be shooting it next year in HFT matches.
The Diana 52 is well, a 52. What can you say?
The Sheridan is fun (with the peep) with only four pumps.
The HW35 with a peep is why I started into adult airguns in 1984.
At that time the R1 was wearing the peep that is currently on the HW35.
You can carry the 35 all day in the woods shooting at twigs, leafs, abandoned trash, etc.
We called that "roving" when we were doing it with our re-curves and long-bows.
Good fun and good exercise.
You can even do it on a mountain bike.
I don't know how much time I have left but I intend to have as much fun as possible.
A stroll through the woods (even California woods) with an air rifle, a pocket full of pellets and a couple more shooting buddies is my kind of fun.
A 10-12 pound rifle with scope, a small air tank, shooting sticks and a stool to sit on is not needed at this time, not for me, not yet.
Maybe when I am 72😜
