Made it home OK but still had to cook my own dinner. Thanks for the fellowship. PA has BAM 51 for $469 w/o scope. Will continue to look around. M-rod might also be a possibility. See you in July. Had a good time

I was glad you made the right call, Jay. I'm a bit tired now, but it's a good sort of tired like when you have a great time like i did today. Aaron had a great time too, and I want to thank you all for making him feel welcome. He did turn out to be a good shot with a bit of coaching. Now hes a safer shooter too. It was real good seeing everyone, and meeting Gary2 (G2). His TX200 was really impressive, especially with the out-the-box trigger, and the artistic carvings in the walnut stock. G1's canon was impressive as well. The way those .50 caliber flattened against a drum at was amazing. Dragon-Slayer is the right name for that beast! It's a good thing we respected that hen turkey that strolled at the edge of our shooting area.
Jay I like your Prod, but pumping it up manually is a bit more work than want. What to do? Great pistol, and quieter than my little Indian too. I need to think on that one some more.
Anyway, it was a great time!
Look forward to the next one. I'll see how the pictures and videos came out. I'll let you all know.

I tried to check on- line for a custom stock for a Discovery since I need a stock of 43 in rather than 39. Saw a lot of custom stocks for high end guns but not for something like the discovery. Any help or recommendation of where to go or where to look would be appreciated. Probably would be more than stock gun but I would be able to hand pump without the extra expense of air fill.

Gary check Airguns of Az. they have 3 stocks listed for the Disco. They are listed in the GTA mall. By the way a deer got a free pass across the shooting range after everyone had left but Jay, Tracy and myself.

Gents,
Wanted to say "Thanks" to all who showed up today for the shoot! Getting to feel like "family" , even though this was only the second shoot I've attended. Sorry I (we) had to cut out early; the boy was literally beat from working at the club... They worked him hard and he was feeling every bit of it when we got him home....
Jay,
Thank you so much for hosting another excellent shoot and making everyone feel like one, big happy family.... and for letting me get my muddy, little hands all over that sweet little Marauder pistol of yours...
Gary1,
Thanks to you, the boy and I had the chance to experience that massive .50 caliber cannon they call the Dragon-Slayer.... WOW! I'm still shakin' my head after shooting that beast!
Darryl,
Thanks for helping Austin add another fun-gun to our stable... I'm starting to see a pattern between these shoots, you and us bringing home another gun... musta let my guard down again! Btw, PM me your Email address so I can get you your money for the gun....
Tracy,
Thanks for letting me shoot in the same field as you today... Excellent shot, my friend. See you at the next meet!
Gary2 and Aaron (sp?),
Nice to meet both of you and look forward to seeing you both at the next meet coming in July!
Once again, "thanks" to everyone for an excellent time and a FUN shoot!

Hi Dave,
Good to see you again and that fine chip-off-the-old-block son of yours. I sent you a PM. Let me know you got it.
I'm glad you could come; sorry Austin had to work, but what a place to work!
At least he was able to visit us for a brief while. Thanks for bringing the chronograph too. Now I know Compasseco returned my rifle in good shooting condition, thanks to you. It even gained 15FPS over the last time it chronied! I'll take it!
Also now I can write a review about my Cometa Indian pistol (I'll take a dremel to the sharp edges to protect Jay's tender fingers.
). It's more powerful than I thought by about 80FPS. I'll take that too. Thanks for the tin of EX Destroyers. The Indian likes them.
It was a great shoot, guys. Come on July!!

Hi guys,
I was only successful in capturing four videos, but I uploaded them to You Tube for your cringing pleasure. I'm sorry, but I was not able to capture the rain dances Jay and Gary put on (I wasn't there to see it, but word has leaked out that it resembled the "Hokey-Pokey!
). As usual I remained incognito; the phantom recorder strikes again!

You're three times welcome, Gary. Not bad video recording for a little i-pod nano, eh? The DS 50 will be our little secret.
But I'm not too concerned. My money's on you for those 0.50 balls bouncing off your skull should the wife find out. Themz some big balls you got there! I mean for that rifle of course!
I'm sure the wife had a wonderful Mother's Day.
