Yeah so what would be a good thing to coat the wood with? Or protect it?
And AGD told me a lie and said it would ship today and be here tomorrow but this adternoon they called and said it would ship tomorrow and I get it Monday...... Well I wasn't happy... So they called back and said they can have it delivered on Saturday... Now that's more like AGD but still... Why did you get my hopes up!!! That's the worst! Anyway yeah I should have it Saturday by noon... As long as these guys can get it out tomorrow.. It's kind of like Christmas as a kid

I also didn't know where I read AGD and pa were the same company but I did find that out.. Both of my returns went to Solon Ohio - PA... And my r10 is also coming from Ohio- but the gun is 50$ more from PA... But I ordered it from AGD for 989... I was pretty confused until I talked to them and said they were "sister company's"

Also... I see in some older videos some of the r10s have a really dark walnut- have they been stained? Or is that what they call black walnut? I love the regular light brown stock too but that dark stock is quite sexy

I'm thinking maybe tung oil. But I am not a wood finishing expert as I've only finished one stock. I hope others will chime in.

I haven't put anything on my stock yet since I have not decided how I want to finish it out. My thought are buffing it out to a shine with the 0000 pads and using the air rifle headquarters Mud that fills pores and the RLO finish. The are so many different ways yo do it I decided to wait and research it out more. Been like 5 years since I did any woodworking and finishing and need a refresher course, lol.
NitroCrusher has done some nice stocks on the Pro-Sport walnut stocks with are very similar. He has also darkened at least one.

I'm glad to hear Airgun Depot still has great customer service. I was well taken care of years ago when I had a problem with my first Hatsan 125. PA may be a sister company, but I think you get a more personal experience from Airgun Depot most of the time.

I use boiled linseed oil on my walnut stocks. Its cheap and easy to use. It seems everyone has their own way of doing things so you kinda have to go with what you think will work best for you.

Those are the three inch shoot n see targets...im not worried about measuring because they're not serious just had to rip it out of the box and shoot. But just seeing that, I'm extremely satisfied and couldn't be more happy with my decision. It's far better than anything I ever shot so far

If you've been considering this gun just get it! Don't consider anything else lol!! No but for what I paid I don't think I could have done better.. I could've had an s500 but only would've been single shot and not regulated. This gun is gorgeous let me get a few pics up

Yeah, I believe! Oh man I love it. Il be able to tell when I handle it more but it's light! Lighter and I thought it would be.. I'd compare it to be just about as light as my disco. At least that's how it feels.. The last gun I had was a gladius at over ten pounds and while that gun actually felt good to shoulder it was still 10+ lbs! Anything lighter to me is better lol. I'm in love with everything about it though. I used my gut feeling for once and it turned out to be good! I can't wait to get her out and get some hunting done

Yeah, I expected a heavy feeling gun cause it should be 8-9 pounds with a scope, but it feels more like 6-7 pounds.

for just a first defense I wold recommend waxing it,
that should help protect the wood from any moisture stains etc.

I haven't used it before but I've heard of Renaissance Wax.
