I was attracted the stock of the BSA... And then after looking into it found out how accurate they are... And then I found out the thing is regulated? I'm going BSA as my first step into a little night higher class of Airguns. But of course I see myself owning several .... Anything better than the hatsans I had I will be a happy fella

Matt like I said before you wont regret either. The R10 MK2 is a very good pick and will do what you need/want.

Does anyone know if the gauge on the BSA shows the pressure of the bottle or the pressure of the regulator

I've had both, 2 AA S-510's and one R-10. I still have the R-10 and don't miss the S-510 even a little bit. More for the money with the R-10 and it is more accurate than both S-510's I had. Also the regulator makes a world of difference, especially shooting at distances past 50 yards.

I just realized you were looking at the S500 instead of the S510. the AA S500 is a single shot bolt action where the R-10 is a bolt action repeater with a 10 round magazine.

I had an Air Arms Prosport with a walnut stock on back-order and didn't have the patience to wait it out. I wanted a .22 cal PCP repeater that would that would get me at least 40 shots and accuracy was a must. I was going to get an Air Arms S510 at first, I wanted a 10 shot mag. The first issue I had with the Air Arms was not being regulated, so I looked into installing one. To me it wasn't worth the cost at that point. I came across the BSA R10 because it was made in England, Had a Walnut Minelli stock and regulated. After extensive research I went with the R-10 also. You'll fall in love with it the moment you pick it up, at least I did. I was expecting it to feel heavy from the specs, but instead it feels nice and easy to handle.

I forgot to mention. The discount codes work for BSA Airguns VS a no-go for Air Arms at places like PA and AGD.

Yeah I originally bought a bullboss... Had a bent cylinder... Then swapped for gladius...won't cycle magazine... And so AGD is still applying my coupon codes to the purchase of the BSA which makes it the same price as the AAs500. I've already fell in love with the stock from the pictures lol... Can't wait to wield it. AGD has been really fast with my returns but I have bothered the living &^^& out of them. They will get the gladius back today and hopefully have the BSA out by tomorrow or Friday. The only thing I was worried about was the issues with the regulator but like I have been told those are the older models from 2012 and back. The main place I go is almost 300 acres of private property and the squirrels have been breeding there for probably a century and so being able to have many consistent shots is exactly what I need and for the same price as the air arms S 500 I just can't pass this up.i'll post some pics as soon as I get it in my hands. I can't wait.thanks to me getting bad hatsans it's allowed me to add a little money each time and hopefully end up with a really good Airgun!

I highly considered the scorpion a couple guns ago. I was seriously a couple clicks away had it in the cart and everything. I'm glad I waited though because I have ended up with an r10! Il let you know how much @@@ it kicks tomorrow evening

Wish I could be there when you open it. You gotta be stoked about now. BSA R-10 coming for the weekend. I hope that front or whatever I keep hearing about that's bringing us a wet weekend just gives you some nice weather. I wouldn't get sweat or rain drops on the stock until you out something on it, even if it's furniture polish. I got a few rain drops on my when I got it and it left white spots I had to buff out even though I wiped it down shortly afterwards.
