And it adjusts itself, by relieving tension and moving towards the muzzle.  This is why so many people experienced variability in velocity, even while shooting tethered. ome time it adjusted itself from shooting a 276gr at 830fps down to less than 400fps on a 2800psi fill.  However, this issue has maybe been resolved in newer models as you did not mention valve lock and your numbers are excellent.  Im on my second Texan and have not experienced the issues of days gone past. I personally could not be more impressed with this as a 3000psi fill rifle. Keep posting your results!

R&L Shroud came in, just installed it, it was easy to install, also got a new Surfboard, just a cheap soft top to get myself back into Surfing after 15 years....
