I went crappie fishing this morning with my brother,and had a great day.This is the first time I have been out this season,and we both got our limit.The limit here is 25 a day and they have to be 9 inches or bigger.I caught a few that were at least 12 14 inches.It was a cold start this morning in the Cuse,but soon as the sun popped out the fish turned on great.

I use to tear them up with minnows and I get 2 doz minnows and end up with more than my bait. Some of the bait can be recycled. It's all saltwater fishing for me know and just caught daily limit on bluefish then just catch and release on the rest. Bagged me a couple of speckled trout too. Can't wait for the red drums to come back and better the 42's I got with 10# test line. Good exercise for 30-40 mins reeling it in. Do all my fishing from the jetties.

Ain't nutin' better than good ole' fresh crappie fillets and hushpuppies!!!!

Thanks guys,between the two of us we must have caught 100 fish.We had to throw alot back because they were under 9 inches.Im goin out again in the morning,gotta get em while the gettins good.lol

Yeah they are great,I just got home from going out this morning.Little slower than yesterday but I got about 15 keepers.

just got in the house after getting home from the farm, my 14 yr.old and I where working on the Missouri spring trifecta(turkeys,crappie and morel mushrooms) we got 2 of the three no morels yet.we kept 20 crappie avg 11 inches released 40-50 more. He got his turkey at 6:45 Saturday morning.I sure do love me some spring time!!!!!!!!!!!
