I thought it was a Discovery with a synthetic stock?

Otherwise it seems like it's pretty much a Discovery with a new look.Paul, when the Specifications sheets for the two rifles are placed side-by-side, there is not many differences. If someone is interested in an entry level PCP with a synthetic stock, the price makes the Maximus rise rather high in the runnings. The longer barrel facilitates attaching the fill line if an LDC/Shroud had been installed. That is one BIG plus. Keep watching and you will likely see many modifications to the butt plate end of the stock too. The need for a second barrel band has been almost entirely eliminated. The sling studs are already installed. Shot count of my Maximus .22 seems to be about the same as my Discovery .22. This rifle has some good features; but it ain't a Daystate; nor is it intended to be.
