Weihrauch hw 97k .20

Hi guys.

I acquired a hw 97k .20 yesterday and my plan with this thread is to provide some info on diffrent pellet brand, fieldtarget, benchrest shooting.
As the gun is now i have re-lubed it and shot it stock no fancy tuning kits or nothing because i don't believe in throwing in tuning kits on a gun that are band new. I will later on experiment with diffrent setup.
As for now I'm thinking that i will try this out in Full power.  The gun will have to brake in for a couple of thousand rounds before i start with this journey. The gun shoots great as it is but the best thing with spring rifles is to try diffrent setups go get the smoothest shooting cycle that is.
As i wrote on the other thread, the gun works fine with both FTT and JSB brand pellets there are also a couple of other brand i will try out to see how they work.

That rifle will shoot much more accurate and constant if u clean out the factory gunk and lube it or tune the right way JMO and experience

They a sweet guns.
But there aren't many pellets to try.
Mine shoots great with FTT's, JSB's and Polymags.

    Hola AirKing, my HW97 .20 is completely stock. I have done nothing to her only clean the barrel. Accuracy and shot cycle is great!! JSB pellets and Beeman Kodiak pellets shoot so nice. The HN FTT are another great pellet, my first kill was a ringneck dove at about 40-45yds with the FTT. Dropped it like a rock!! I plan after accuracy drops off to send it to John in PA for a complete once over. Until then she is too good to mess with. I believe that a pro should do my first tune and polish everything and set her up nicely to make it easier in the long run for me. I have shot over 1500 pellets thru her at his time and still is dead on. Just love the .20caliber, best for the spring piston guns JMO
