Another HW95 Problem

Decided to take 95 out to shoot with iron sights, get it zeroed in. Well I'm getting things lined up when the barrel lock up changes. It's no longer locking up ridgidly I can move the barrel easily up and down about 1/8". Brought it back indoors and removed barrel. Barrel detent and spring seem to be working properly.
On the receiver side their is a new added on piece that includes the chisel detent as well as to ears that have threaded holes for the forearm to be attached.
Not sure what this thing should look like as to position,it protrudes from the breech face and seems to be where the the barrel detent interacts.I've loosened the screw holding it in place, but I've not removed it for fear it might be spring loaded or something.
Can anyone possible tell me where the issue lies, what's out of place, worn out etc? I'm getting sick of fixing Weihrauchs,or trying to.

Were you able to get the barrel back on without releasing spring pressure? You problem sounds like possibly a lack of lubricant on the chisel point or too tight pivot bolt.

Did you assemble and disassemble the gun prior to this happening or did it just start happening without you tinkering at all with the rifle (on it's own).

56S,this is a new barrel recently purchased from Chambers in the U.K. to replace a bent one. I've had it mounted a week or so and heretofore did not notice this. The lockup was ridgid, all seemed well, then from one shot to the next it became loose.
Stija,as above this is a new barrel installed a week ago and working fine until this morning.
There doesn't seem to be a schematic available showing the recent design changes..

Do you have a photo? sounds like the detent is stuck in the breech block. IIRC the pivot bolt is inside a bushing that holds the detent in the breech block.

Joek are you referring to the spring loaded detent in the barrel assembly? As I said I checked it and it seems fine.Going to dig out old barrel for comparison. If all else fails I'll remove the barrel detent and check it.

Joek, you might be right, comparison of the two barrels showed only cosmetic differences. For lack of anything else to do I removed the detent and detent spring, lightly sanded edge of hole, went over detent with sandpaper lightly, oiled spring, oiled detent,re-assembled. Now it appears to be back to working perfectly.I would not have believed such a strong spring would fail to shove the detent out all the way. I'm left with no other explanation though.
Thanks all for the help!
