A short time ago, Rick Eustler posted a video on doing a conversion to HPA for the Sig Sauer MCX/MPX.
I have done this, and it works beautifully! I have run about 4 mags (4X30) thru it flawlessly (started at 3k now at 2k).
I will take a chrony to it once it's NOT raining here!

I saw that video also. Looked like a nice, safe and easy way to. Not any different from going HPA on a paintball gun.

Just needed to add a bulk fill converter, and the proper regulator/bottle.

I thought the same....I just couldnt resist doing it now, with such minimal parts (some of which I already had).

Agreed. What you have looks fun tho.....hard to wait for the pcp version now.

It's fun for sure! Sometimes, just taking a break from the serious "heavy metal"PCP's, and picking up something like this, and going nuts is wickedly fun!
I will try to get some string up this week if my weather cooperates, and my chrony cooperates...(I HATE my chrony)! I'm still waiting for the Caldwell G2

Didn't have a lot of time today (even if I did....keep reading),
So I ran the MCX over the chrony with some 5.56 gran .177's.
My intent was to also do some 4.32, and 4 grain...but then...(Keep reading)

Thank you so much for the chrony data on HPA! I was considering getting one of these guns and converting it to HPA as an upgrade from my 1077, but since this platform can push a tiny 5-ish grain pellet at 500 fps or less, it is utterly outclassed by my 1077 which launches 8-ish grain pellets at about 600 fps. So what will the HPA Sig launch an 8-ish grain pellet at, based on this data? Maybe 300 fps? Making this, by far, the weakest HPA rig ever made? I use my 1077 for protecting my backyard songbirds from ravaging English sparrows and starlings, and this data makes it look like this gun might only annoy those pests. Thank you again for the data, you have saved me a few hundred dollars that I can now put towards the Condor SS that my wife wanted!

He hasn't modded anything yet. FAIK not too many if any have modded anything internally on the Sigs yet. No telling what is possible with them yet.
It's still way too anemic for me (I'm still waiting for the PCP). But you never know what clever GTA members can do with a new platform like that.

I hope that a little modding can improve the performance. I really wanted to get one of these because they looked like a lot of fun, but I need more power than being just barely being able to poke a hole in a piece of paper at ten feet. I am looking forward to reading more about mods to this platform in the future, and I hope that one day someone figures out how to get enough power out of it to be useful!

The rounds that I did measure surprised me with the "under performance" as well. I will be watching closely as well for any mods that will improve velocity.
