Recent Krale Order

I was hoping to cheerfully post the cheaper shipping options that Krale now offers, but I had some bad luck with my order. In the past I questioned Krale's use of packing materials, but I think they did a good job packaging my order.

But how do you protect from stupid?  The box looks like the inspectors opened it with a machete, then used box cutters to slice thru the bubble wrap slicing the air cylinder, then it looks like they dropped it on the concrete floor hey!?

Unacceptable .... while NOT the shippers fault, does pay homage to having a stateside dealer to make sure what ends up in buyers hands is what was paid for.  Customer service & support is NOT FREE & such issues as this bypassing it leaves the burden squarely in buyers lap ... Sadly.

Krale is the only place that I am aware of that stocks this item.

I am unsure where the burden lays?, but agree it is not acceptable. I am hoping that Krale allows me to return it.

Another Krale/UPS nightmare..........Have you heard anything back from him? Did you have to pay a customs fee? Hope you have satisfactory results. UPS is a joke, it's CYA with them. Document, document, document. Every email from the Netherlands, from UPS, photos, have backup for your backup.
Anyone buying from Krale needs to factor in the price of a hard case, just ask me or straightshooter

Thanks Mike.  I find it funny some try to put blame on the buyer,  I do not subscribe to that nonsence, this is a issue that Krale needs to resolve if they want to continue with sales accross their border.

I feel bad for krale that this happened, and will pay for return shipping, but thats it,  I am not interested in going to battle, if a satisfactory result can not be made, then hopefully my CC company wiill provide releif?

I am happy to report a great Customer Service Support experience  from Krale!

Krale is sending me a replacement that will be here next week, no haggling, or monkey business of any kind, in fact I was told I could use the air cylinder if I wanted to until the replacement arrived. Krale was more concerned with me not being able to shoot than the damaged air cylinder, and they are even going to pay return shipping!

I couldn't be happier with Krale!

I ordered a 392-$109 delivered-Amazon Lightning Deal
about 12 days ago
Imagine my surprise this Tuesday at 1:30pm when I checked(checked several times a day-) UPS tracking
and found  it had been DELIVERED at 12:45pm  -as "proof" they said it was left at my side door.
Well I had been home-ALLL DAY- and we have a very noisy DOG-who Big Dog barks growls whenever anything happens-knock bell ring putting mail in box-ANYTHING
Oh-we DON'T have a "side door"
well I jumped in my car-went up and down street-looking-went 1 and 2 streets over-to same # address
No luck
I course I immediately "did a chat" and the chat person said a customer service person would call
Sure enough get call-she reiterates "side door" I re-iterate No $#^% side door
Well she says I have to contact amazon in 36 hrs-and they have to make claim

Well she HAD actually contacted driver-real time-he told her "left it side door"
But -it MUST have gotten him thinking
because about 2:45pm-
door bell rings-dog raises roof
and gun in box-at door
UPS guy was almost at truck-but I talk to him-he apologizes-said he left it several streets over-same #-
he went back-it was still there-luck
and I got it.

So UPS folks are under serious TIME PRODUCTION STRESS-
they will make errors-LOTS of errors-
Obviously whoever opens inspects packages-customs- or UPS?? are under time pressure also??
so UPS not so good anymore-
whoever inspects packages-slices them open like that-??
needs to be fired

I contacted UPS, and was told UPS is just a shipping company and they do not open packages. So the culprit probably is a Custom Agent with zero accountability. It would be nice if they could identify the individual and pink slip him, but I doubt that will happen.

WOW ... they certainly stepped up to make good an issue clearly not of there making !!
Very many repeat issues of same and there direct export practices may indeed change

I think Krale did a good job shipping, the air tube was bubble-wrapped, cardboard wrapped, and double boxed. In hindsight, maybe they could add a barrier underneath the bubble-wrapping to guard against a bonehead with box cutters?

Like I said, how do you protect from stupid?

Thanks Scott, I am a little worried about the replacement. With the current events over in Europe, and with Brussels being right next to the Netherlands, I am sure it is a different world in that region than last week when I placed the order, and probably no worse of a time to order and expect normal shipping/inspection operations.

The double boxed HW97K I received from Krale in January was supremely packed without a blemish or cut of any kind on the packaging.  If I didn't know better, I would swear it had been packed at the end of our driveway instead of some 6-7,000 miles away.  Like someone else opined, I suspect the cause of damage lies elsewhere other than Krale.

Thanks Greg! Me too, this incident actually relieved worries about dealings with a company abroad, Krale really did step up, who provides that kind of service anymore? I don't even think Amazon does that? And with 3 day service and cheap shipping (I think it only cost 20 bucks for this order)(and no duty fee this time?) Krale will be getting a lot of business.

I had a good conversation with G. Krale, good folks at Krale and I have no hesitations at all ordering anything from them.

My New HW30S arrived on schedule last Thursday.  The outer wrappings weren't pretty but inside the three layers of protection, the little rifle inside had been inspected and test fired as requested and was in perfect, untouched NEW condition. 

That's two air rifles I have purchased from Krale Schietsport in 2016 and I am tickled pink with all aspects of my purchases.

They still should have detected and followed the case up imo.

Ordered a rifle from Krale earlier this year, arrived safe and sound thanks to plenty of wrapping - that's the way.
