I found lead shavings inside the LDC . A little judicious work with a rat tail file and problem was solved. The S510 is fairly quiet even without the shroud so no problem for me to shoot it in my basement. Long winded way of saying try looking inside the LDC after it is removed from the rifle and see if any shavings shake out also look in side the bore of the LDC for evidence of damage from the pellets

Goodness.
