Pcp Barrel swap questions

Is it possible to swap calibers from say a .30 or .35 down to a .22 or .177? I have been eye balling the hatsan at44 .22for a while now but I'm hung up on the fact that jack rabbit is the largest game in my area I can hunt.
I have a hard time justifying investing over 800$ in rifle scope and pump just for rabbit.
But if I could swap barrels to a 30 then I'm good for coyote too. Is there any pcp rifles that are able to swap out like that? It doesnt have to be hatsan. I am pretty impressed with the accuracy of the bt65 and at44 but am open minded.

It is pricey and unfortunately I dont know if there are any under the $750 range. The closest would be the AF line but they only go up to .25.

Not many guns allow for a simple barrel swap to change calibers. That being said, and keeping your post in mind, the .30 cal isnt mandatory for songdogs unless you plan on taking strictly body shots. And even with body shots the .30 really doesnt have that much of an advantage unless your chosen gun is in the 120+ fpe power range & you choose your shot placement carefully.
My advice, since it seems you are looking for the cheapest gun out that is capable of doing pretty much everything from taking nutters to coyotes, you can go with either a .25 Sumatra for its adjustability or a .25 AT44 with a spare air cylinder tuned for higher power levels and use the other for low power.
Other than the AF guns or FX Impact, anything else that would let you swap calibers at will would be some sort of custom setup that would still require you to change a few other parts along with the barrel when making your swap, such as the probe & possibly TP.
Simply put, the .25 will dispatch a rabbit and evn a coyote once you do your due diligence & choose your shot placement properly.

I might be unpopular for saying this, but I'd trust a 30 fpe .22 gun to put down a coyote within 50 yards as long as you know you're accurate enough. You live here in Utah like me, so you know that getting a coyote within 50 yards here is harder than one might think.
Honestly, if I were to buy a PCP for hunting jacks and yotes out here in Utah, I'd get a Sumatra .25 and shoot slugs. It's probably a bit overkill for jacks, but you could feel confident shooting jacks in the body out to as far as the gun is accurate enough and I'd feel confident shooting yotes in the heart/lung out to 75 yards with that.

Thanks for the advice. I saw the new after big bore Texans are they able to drop down u to a .22? I've looked at the .25 but my worry is pass throughs. I shoot pigeons at a dairy and dont like putting holes in the thin siding. I saw a post where some one got the .22 over 100 fpe I'm thinking that over time that might be what I work up to. I'm sure a .22 at 75 fpe will drop coyote with a head shot within 75 - 80 yards and the kill zone on a pigeon is about the same as the kill zone on a coyotes head. Budget wise I want a rifle that I can use often. It may be that for now I just thump coyotes with a powder burner

You cannot go down in caliber size with any of the AF Texans. You can change caliber sizes in the Talon, Condor, Escape and TalonP. But that is only with the .22 & .25 barrels. .177 would need you to do a change with the stem and/or valve and maybe the breech or you will dump your tank. On the Condor, you can sometimes dump the tank with the .22 barrels.
If want flexibility then an AF may be the way. The Sumatras power wheel can give you the power you need, for the particular game you are shooting. I have an Escape and go between .22 and .25 with no issues. I also have a .22 Sumatra carbine and it puts in work from pest birds, to P-Dawgs and will easily put a yote on the ground at distance. I have shot slugs from both platforms with no problems. Honestly, if you want a shooter to go thru extreme caliber changes, talk to Travis of Wicked Air Rifles or save for an Impact.
