Shanghai B3-3.....any interest?

Back in the early '90's I was an unauthorized air gun dealer for B3-3 (and a few others) rifles that I bought in lots of 5 or 10 from Compasseco.  Over a period of a year or so, I sold well over 100 guns.  I'd almost forgot that I still had my original.  I tried to fire it today and I think the seals gave way.  It still cocked and the spring compressed but it wouldn't even push a cleaning pellet out.  There's no obstruction in the barrel and the spring isn't cocked as it sits.

Is there still any interest in these?  If someone wants this one they can have it for shipping costs.  I'd hate to toss it in my recycling bin if anyone would want to do a restoration.  It's not rusty and the stock is in amazingly nice shape.  I know I probably should have this in the classifieds, but thought i'd try to take a shortcut thru you guys.  Any interest?  P.M...................the Mailman

Boy!  I'm getting good with the picture posting!  I just weighed it on the fish scale...a touch under 7 lbs.  I hope free is an acceptable price?!  I was just taking a close look at the stock.  I'm not half bad at refinishing and I'll bet I could really make that one smile...........the Mailman

Fun little rifles. I have one. I'm not surprised there is interest in it. One just has to remember safety and watch out for those fingers.

I love Chinese underlevers. They have B4-2A rifles on sale locally for 59.99 cdn. May get one if it still has steel sights rather than plastic.

I've grown kind of fond of them.There used to be an airgun club in Kermit Texas that had a site with tons of info on the B3,and I guess it's gone. They had how to build a spring compressor, different mods and tips. Even a build contest.
