And bought a Mrod .177 and accessories on a Leap day sale.
It arrived today
My first PCP.
Now I have some work ahead of me.
Had a busy long day at work and too tired to do much tonight.
Would rather have a beer and relax.

Welcome to the club!

I have one, love it, it's my go to fun gun and the one I hand to people to let them see what a modern adult air rifle is about..

With factory settings, you will find it probably likes a 2700-2800 psi fill.

If your pump and gun gauges don't match pressures, trust the pump gauge.

Before you start turning screws, record your factory settings so you have a baseline to go back to.

I have a .25 marauder.....I have wanted another in .177 for awhile now.
Can't imagine how quiet they are (considering how quiet I got my .25).

Never. In a gun that is offered in multiple calibers but everything else is the same (i.e. air tank) the tank only holds so much energy in the form of compressed air. So USUALLY the gun is set up to produce more foot-pounds of energy per shot with the larger caliber so you therefore get fewer shots. Nothing in life is free!

On my .177 I get 70 shots per fill averaging 891fps, with 10.5 domes(3100-1800 psi)
On my .22, I had it tuned for 40 shots in the 860fps range either 14.3 gr pellets, (2000 psi to 1000 psi) low pressure fil.

I haven't had a chance to tune a .25 yet.
Tim Hill on here can offer a lot of advice on the .25.
The 177&.22 use the same valve, the .25 uses a different one to accommodate the larger air volume needed..

Enjoy the new rifle, they are really sweet, and go slow with the pump if it's the benjamin as it's easy to go to fast and heat up the tiny o-ring on the last stage of the pump. If you wear it out, get a better 70 or 90 duro o-ring.

Yeah, you're gonna love that gun. I have a first generation Marauder in .177 and all I can say is that it is a pleasure to shoot. Mine likes the JSB 10.34gr Exact Heavy, 13.4gr Monsters and I can just touch 25FPE with the 16.2gr Beasts. But they all shoot super tight groups at 35-40 yards. Mine is all stock internals (valve, hammer, etc).
The .177 Mrod is a really flexible gun and super quiet when properly tuned. Get a chrony, if you don't have one yet. Yeah, you're gonna get all kinds of ideas how best to burn through your savings. Enjoy your new toy!

Making baby steps
Caldwell XLA bipod 6" to 9" pivot installed.
Got the UTG 3-12X44 scope mounted, have a Pulsar-940 IR Flashlight mounted on top of that.
The flip up lens cover is removable so that isn't a problem.
Not to sure if that is the best location for the Pulsar, I may try other locations for it.
Will be attaching a Sony HDR-SR10 Handycam with night vision to the rear of the scope.
The plan is to see if I can get a rat or two over at the farm in Eastern Washington.

Very nice, I run a hawke 3-12 on my .177 Mrod, the magnification makes for a good all around scope.

This is just me, and my personal preference.
I would put the light somewhere else if you are going to hang a camcorder on the scope.
Maybe on the forearm with a side mount, or in front of the bipod, or even on a rubber isolated mount on the pressure tube.

Just too much weight and leverage on the scope and dovetail mount in my opinion.

Sounds like a good idea and very doable.
