I personally have no problem running HPA in a QB78 up to whatever you can do with a 1.8K burst disc in the output side of the regulator.... which is usually about 1500 psi, although sometimes you can get the disc to live at 1600.... CO2 can get up to 1900 psi at 120*F, which you can achieve in a hot car in the sun, or just leaving the gun laying in direct sunlight full of CO2.... The threads are not the issue, the weakest point is actually the flange on the cap that retains the insert in the end of the tube....Bob
Anything can fail, most of the time they do so at the weakest link.... However, manufacturing tolerances can creep in, and bite you where it hurts.... All we can do is try and guess what the most likely mode of failure is and stay wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy below it.... Bob
