Crosman transfer port seal in qb78 or qb79

In several of rsterne's posts he makes reference to using a crosman transfer port seal in QB's. over the years I've used several different things including iceman tubing, orings, flat rubber seals, ets. Recently I switched over to the crosman seal, and what a difference. They hold up well, can be assebled/disassembled multiple times. I always use a little plumbers grease/silicon grease/clear tar/whatever you want to call it. When I was developing my SSG's multiple assemble/disassemble steps were required. the plumbers grease kept the crosman seal in place and made the process worry free. the crosman seal has yet to show any signs of wear.
I really hated dealing with the icemaker line- getting the length right, cutting it straight, the risk associated with reusing it, etc.
Thanks to rsterne for this small change that made a drastic improvement to my qb experience.

The transfer port seal from a 1377 (like many Crosman parts, it's used on several other models). It's a square cross section o-ring. Basically a short piece cut from a rubber hose.

I have them in my Ar2079A target guns, and i should have used them instead of the ice tubing on my hunting guns, they do make a very nice clean seal.
What is great is you can call Crosman up order a dz of them and any other parts you may need for your Crosman guns or ? and the shipping is less then $5..00 ...Awesome !
