So you say just shoot and don't think about accuracy ? But if you clean the barrel are you back to square one?I have dealt with 22 lr pb .They can be picky .Shoot and learn the airgun .

clean the barrel and shoot it. don't worry too much about accuracy for the first 300 - 500 pellets. be safe and remember your pellet rifle can seriously injure a person. welcome to the hobby
I've yet to see a new springer that was properly lubed from the factory.... Their either under or over lubed using lubricants of questionable quality. I completely tune every springer from the git-go (ringed or buttoned piston, turn new TIGHT fitting guides, deburr fit & polish everything that needs it & trigger work) & IMO it's the only way to go. Makes the rifles last longer, they are much more user friendly & easier on scopes.
