Ok, I have this old Chinese springer I've had for years. It is stamped made in China up by where the barrel breaks. On the top there is a stamped circle with an arrow going through the middle, Chinese text above the arrow and what appears to be "AIRW" below the arrow. There may be an O between the r and w,at least there looks to be room for another letter there. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's probably an ARROW brand, an older B2? I have a B3 with that stamp on it. They most likely come from the same factory BAM or Industry Brand. Mine is about a 1984 vintage.

Possibly a 75A-1. I have a Lion brand underlever that was the precursor to the B3/4. They were all made about the same time. If yours is a breaker, it's probably what the B1 grew out of.

After I took a picture of the stamp it does read ARROW.

The breach seal appears to be leather?

Yes, they're leather. you can get a B2 kit from PA. It has the breach seal, leather piston seal and main spring if you want to rebuild it. They'll probably fit.

I believe a rebuild is in its future. New stock as well because there is some cracking on this one. I've never pulled a sprunger apart before. I understand there is quite a bit of pressure on the springs?

Those guns are simple. You'll need a spring compressor or bar clamp because the retainer pin goes thru the trigger and you need control to get it out and back in. Stock will be hard to find. Post a full size pic. You might try super glue or wood putty in the cracks.

I think 75A-1 is an under lever kind of like a B3.

I just did an older ARROW B3 stock, it was way too bad to stain so I did it in a dark walnut satin paint. I like the way it turned out, this older version of the b3 is about 3 inches shorter and it is very accurate for what it is, the stock configuration looks just like your breakbarrel. They are very easy to work on.

That turned out real nice. I want to get mine shooting first, then I'll do the stock. Couldn't find kits for ARROW brand at P A. What brand are they sold under?

Your under lever looks great. I think it's a 75A-1. Did you tear it down and rebuild it.

For the Arrow break barrel the B2 kit Is TF. Go to Pyamyd, click home, then accessories, then click cleaning and maintenance, then cleaning kits & tools. 15th item down. Tech Force spring gun cleaning and parts kit with seal etc. $9.55, part # PY-A-3453. You can probably make all that work.

Please do. I enjoy these old chinese guns. I just rebuilt a B3 for a friend. Also just bought 4 Qb89's and gave a couple of buds one each and we're all going to try to rebuild those. Trying to buy a QB6 from another GTA fellow. While out in Santa Fe with the wife this past week I found a used chinese clone RWS 320 and a Slavia 631. I think they're going to be keepers.

Ok here's done pictures of the damage. Missing some wood up by the action and a crack down the bottom of the stock.

Where the wood is broke of at the front bottom end is forward of the side stock screw holes you might be able to just cut the stock off behind or close to the break. The crack in the bottom to the trigger guard have the gun out of the stock, spread the crack open a little and squirt some super glue in the crack and hold together till it dries and refinish. Looks like the front sling mount is forward of the broke off part. If you cut it off remove the rear sling mount, wood putty and refinish or paint.

I tore it down polished it up, cleaned all the grease out. It's quiet now, just the click when you pull the lever. This one also has the larger breech seal, I'll have to figure out where to get one of those at. It shoots nice, biggest complaint on these Chinese rifles for me is the weight, they're 7-8 lbs, and the harsh re-coil, they jump pretty good.
