Same problem i bought my last year and im thinking it was a bad batch ,gene had the same problem and he fixed his then james manou offered to help me and its been two months that i left my a.g out in maine so last weekend i drove to maine is brung it back with me to get it fixed cause its a good airgun and i dont wanna let it go at all so im hoping the offer still stands. Yes James Manou is a cool person and they make sure that their customers are well taken care of ..Thank You for the info fnash..

It is just the nature of that trigger. They would do well to fix that problem in the future. The trigger is a nice easy trigger otherwise.

I ended up buying a new trigger assy. from Chambers. The trigger looks great and never could see the reason it failed. Just stopped latching when I cocked the gun. I wish I had known manou brothers, back then.. The Cometa guns are beautiful.
