Breech O ring seal

Does the 500cc Sumatra have a breech seal ?

Yes it does, and it should be checked for wear and replaced if worn. To check for wear I shoot a pellet while holding my fingers just above the front of the magazine...if I feel a little puff of air I know it is time to replace it. You can remove the old one and take it to an auto parts store where you will find the correct size. There are black ones made from petroleum, but I like the brown ones that are meant for fuel lines because they are resistant to the solvent I use to clean my barrel. I also use the green ones that my guy who fills my air tanks gives me...he says they are for oxygen tank fittings. If you shoot pellets with oversize skirts it doesn't hurt to lube the breech o-ring with a q-tip before a shooting session. From one Sumatra lover to another...
