hatsan parts?

I was about to pull the trigger on a hatsan striker1000s .22, untill i googled parts for it. I couldnt come up with any thing except for stuff across the big pond. Are parts for these guns that hard to get ahold of?

I've contacted Customer Service recently about an issue and they have offered to sell me parts.  Not sure if everything on the gun is available, but the website hatsanusa.com has a contact form then they e-mail you.

Expendables are probably better had from Airgun Headquarters or Vortek, but the Hatsans seem to be solidly built and have a good reputation within their price range.

The Striker series does not have the Quattro trigger.
That's a good thing in a way.
The Quattro is tough to put back in until you do a few.

  I had a hatsan striker vortex 22 and a 125 vortex 22 and I had to send both back because of overall poor quality.so I am zero for two with hatsan.some guys swear they the best but I haven't received a good one yet.they where accurate but had problems that I felt would doom them.

There are two issues with Hatsan break barrels:

 First the main seal. It's crud. I've not seen the fit of a new factory main seal but my compression dropped severely in 1500 shots. When I did replace it with an after market seal that fits and of better quality to last found it wobbled around in piston being so loose. So know you'll eventually need to replace the seal and when doing so get an aftermarket. This means you'll need to learn to open up the gun or spend cash for someone else to do it. That cash could be spent up front for a better gun. I like the Hatsan and don't mind doing periodic maintenence.

Second the length of pull, stock length, is far too long. I don't know about striker model but others are provided with butt length adjustments. Nobody can use them as the gun is already too long in stock. I had to put on a NCStar  weaver mount picatinny rail so to move scope far enough back for good eye relief.

For the price range they are excellent guns. One needs to learn how to upkeep them is all. I don't know how long the aftermarket seal will last but that is a continual repair with all air guns. Hatsans stock piston is just crud is all.

you're not going to get trigger parts from Hatsan. The only way that will happen is if you send it to them and have one of their techs install the trigger parts.

With the rifle in question being a Striker 1000S, there are a few things you can do to it for all of about a $1 to make the trigger better or you can go hardcore and get either the Welsh Willy HST, he still has a few left or the GRT III is almost exactly the same, just has a shorter trigger blade which there are any number of ways to make a little longer.

Piston seals you can get a better aftermarket version from Air Rifle Headquarters (ARH) for $12. You can also get replacement springs from them just by measuring yours and I think they'll still make you one. That or if I remember correctly, they sell the E3650 spring which will also fit.

The synthetic stock can also be either tweaked a few ways to make it better or you can e-mail Hatsan customer service and order the Striker wood stock. I bought my Edge Vortex .22 with discounts for $79.99, ordered the Striker wood stock for it for $39.99 + shipping and it ended up costing me almost $40 less than the 1000X Vortex that sells for $179.99 and they're the same rifle.

And because it just came to mind, Hatsan doesn't seem to use better quality screws for their stock screws. They tend to wear down on the ends and I've had to replace a few. You can get them at your local hardware store, just take yours with you and match them up. They cost all of about .25 to .40 cents each.

For anything else except for trigger stuff, e-mail Hatsan customer service and ask, they'll tell you what's available, how much and how to order, but the things I've already listed are the most likely things you may end up needing.

Im pretty much basing this off of my old crosman quest, purchased it back in 09-2010. It broke years ago and just recently dug it back out. Called crosman with part numbers and they still have all the parts, picked up a rear spring guide for 5 bucks shipped 2 piston seals for 6 bucks shipped and 2 piston springs for 14 bucks shipped. While i dont exspect a higher caliber gun to be as cheap, id be much more apt to buy if i knew the parts would be abable in 5+ years from now

Well the striker that i found was a refurb for 85 shipped, trying to keep the bill under 100 bucks

Yes the one i found was a springer, i like how simple the springers are. The gas ram seems nice but i dont want to deal with a leaker. Replacement springs are cheaper if and when they break

A good tune with all the right tricks makes them as smooth as a Gas spring.
